It would make sense, but I think they're trying to rein in overchanging so that the Pokémon Factory doesn't go overboard.

Also, time travel is caused by an anomaly in space-time, opening a worm hole in the fabric of space time, temporarily. Considering that the only way that a Pokemon would be able to teleport would by using the same method, only opening a worm hole into another area instead of another time. Thus, according to Einstein's Theory of Relativity (at least, I think it's the the Theory of Relativity), if a pokemon can use teleport, then it could also time travel. So basically, any Pokemon that can learn teleport can also time travel. So, since only psychic types can learn teleport, Celebii must be a psychic type.

I tame the burninators.

Here's how the Slakoth line really goes through evolution:

Slakoth drinks a Red Bull, causing it to get hyper and evolve into Vigoroth.
The caffeine rush ends, causing Vigoroth to evolve into Slaking.

Good point; we've actually discussed that a couple of days ago, and it will indeed become Water/Light. Finneon will remain pure Water, with access to Light-type moves.

@trogdor tamer: Isn't Einstein's Theory of Reletivity e=mc^2? Or the theory of the energy of the sun? Plus, that means Abra can time travel. You're saying that Pokemon can only time travel if they can teleport, and if they can teleport they will have time travel abilities. So you're saying that Abra can time travel, even though it can't.

I agree that it's a little much to say anyone who can teleport can travel through time, though I'll acknowledge that they are related.

E=mc² is the famous equation, but there is more to the theory of relativity than that...just like there's more to Pikachu than Thundershock. There is strong evidence in astrophysics for time being the fourth dimension, or at least something like it.

I'm just saying that, even though far fetched, technically, wormholes can take you to different time periods as well as different places. Some, in theory, if you can do one, you can do one, you can do the other. However, even more far fetched is the ability to produce enough energy to create a wormhole.

Ok here is another suggestion I just thought up. For groudon, he should ground/light for his ability to utilize the sun to cause massive drought.

Though that is probably somewhat fitting Groudon, one of the main problems is, besides the fact that he's legendary, that Kyogre would need to gain a second type as well. It'd be odd if the ocean-representing Kyogre would be pure Water, while the land-representing Groudon would not be just pure Ground.

Then give kyogre magic. He could create booming spells to manipulate water around him, I guess.

It seems to me that with Kyogre representing the oceans/seas, and Groudon the land/continent, pure Water and pure Ground just makes sense. A secondary type is doing more harm than good here. A much easier solution would be giving Groudon access to Light-type moves.

Speaking of Ligbht type moves, I want to debate the move Solarbeam's typing. It's a beam that's charged by sunlight, then launched. It is not made of light itself, just charged by it.

Oh, yes. At the beginning we had changed Solarbeam's type to Light, but we changed it back to Grass, simply beacuse in the games it is the Grass-type move. Negating its STAB to the signature move of all Grass-types would be just too unfair. Besides, as you said, the attack could be merely charged by light, which is processed by the plant (using chlorophyll, probably) and then launched.

Oh, well I didn't see those changes when I posted that. And I'm debating if Sunny Day should be a Light type with myself. While the sun does produce light, it is very hot and Castform becomes a Fire type when it is used... Any thoughts on it?
