I'm not surprised. He had in coming to him for a long time after his 1st triumph, Hillary Clinton. But still, I'm unsure if he is well trained for his role as president of the united states, AND the most powerful man in the world.

No, why should it be closed? Plenty of topics are just left to float to the bottom of forums, locking is only for if posting is no longer desired. Besides, we could still use it to talk about Obama. For example, he's being inaugurated on my 15th birthday. I get a shiny new American president for my birthday.

Well, MR. S, coincidentally, my friend's birthday is on election day. SOme one had already got him Obama, so I got him no Pailn. Also, interesting OBama fact:
He is the first minority leader of a predominantly white country in recorded history.

I'm not as happy as all of you are. I disagree with many of Obama's policies (especially the ones that seem more socialist) and he really has no experience and besides that hope and change (what people voted for) were masking his actual plans for government, but none the less I wish him the best and hope that he can be an effective leader.

What if he messes up? Then where we would talk about him? I heard he's on his way to messing up by sending our troops who were supposed 2 go home 2 some other country along with more people. I will set a curse on him if I have 2 go 2 war. But I know it's a great thing, for lack of a better term, for us african american people, but I'm tired of hearing about him cuz my stepmom is what I call an Obama ho. I know you all won't like this comment but open your eyes: Okay, Obama's intelligent and better yet- black and from my state of Hawaii, HOWEVER: Have you all seen his stimulus bill? American's of this generation (my generation) are going to have to pay back a 3 trillion dollar debt. Working til I'm 70 doesn't sound fun. I have more on this issue but yeah - I'm not gonna bother right now. (although I don't look forward to McCain either.)
