Odd as it may seem for the admin of a project talking about being the admin of another project, I'd like to open up PT for people from PF, and vise versa.
To recap, PT is a pokémon fangame project, which will be written in Java on the Jepe engine, which is being developed at the same time. There's a demo up, althoguh a new demo is coming soon (when I smooth out battling and a few other things).
PT has a fairly long history of the forum people coming and going, and right now we're in a real low point. Also, the game is more completed than ever, but it seems like there are only about three people actively working on it, if that. Personally, I barely have time for it, but I try to contribute some coding for Jepe when I can.
So, I think it's time to open it up. We need skilled mappers, and anyone willing to learn Java (fairly hard if you have no experience) or XML (which sounds much scarier than it is, if you know HTML it's easy). If you are up to making pretty maps on a grid, or would be willing to learn how to transfer maps to XML, or even if you're just a bit curious, head over to the forums at http://togepitaion.proboards20.com/.
The demo, btw, is up here: http://jepe.ptreasures.net/demo.php although the server seems slow today.
(I also need to mention that the majority of spriting work, other than maps, is done for the game, and likewise plot ideas. Sorry :/)
