my favorite is my nidoking from my silver game. i dont remember his moves but his level was 39 and his nickname is blubah!

Bulbasaur all the way. I love Grass-type pokémon, I love the pokémon it evolves into (like the 100% awesome Venusaur) and I even like(d) its role in the anime with its kick-@$$ personality.

My favorite Pokemon from Kanto (and overall) is Sandshrew. The reason is: I hate Pikachu

Let me explain: Ever since the anime, I've loathed Pikachu since the anime, because every Pokenoob (somone who just got into Pokemon) always says "OMG I LUV PIKACHU IT IS THE GREATEST POKEMON!" So I hate Pikachu (though only really anime/Pokenoob Pikachu, He's good ingame, cool in manga, has a cute prevo, great evo, and I'm great as him in the SSB series). But one day, I read the 'Pokemon Top 10 Lists' book, and I was REALLY ticked off with the 'Top 10 Pokemon Ever' list. The winner was Pika (Of course), and the reason was 'It's cute, it's loyal, and it's got powerful electric shocks, it's the total package'. When I saw this I thought basiclly 'WHAT THE CRUD (replace crud with less polite word)!?!?!?! A ton of Pokemon are cute, all are loyal unless they're traded, and there are tons of eletric Pokemon, and more Pokemon can use Electric attacks!'.

So I decided to try to find a cute Eletric type to counter Pikachu. After awhile, though, I realized that Electric was countered by Ground. So then I realized that Sandshrew fit the niche of cute Ground-type. As an extra touch, it was also called the Mouse Pokemon too!

So that's why I love Sandshrew: it's the perfect anti-Pikachu.

Other favorites: Raichu (Pika sux, but Rai rox), Electrode, Lapras, Poliwag line, Arbok

Porygon. The first the neatest and in my opinion one of the best ideas ever. The poor thing is too misunderstood because of ESP too! It was blody Pikachu's fault for those flashes not Porygon!!! Make a new episode for them!!!!

I also have nothing against pikachu but anyway back to the actual topic was about. I gotta say my favorite pokemon in kanto is ditto cuz if you raise it to level 100 and then you go against a mewtwo you can beat the mewtwo easy.
