Let's write about Pokemon mythology, why not? I'll start, I guess.
The Two Towers
Long ago, when Johto was but a small province, two towers were built. One, the Tin Tower, was the home of the phoenix, Ho-Oh. The second, the Brass Tower, was home to the ryujin, Lugia. Both lived in harmony, watching the people of Johto. However, tragedy struck. A stray lightning bolt set the Brass Tower ablaze, resulting in a fire that died but three days later, thanks to a downpour of rain. Ho-Oh and Lugia escaped unharmed, but three Pokemon died in the fire. Returning to the Brass Tower, Ho-Oh resurrected the beasts and commanded them to guard the ruins of the Brass Towers. Today, the Tin Tower still stands strong, and those who venture into the wreckage of the Brass Tower swear they see the legendary beasts.
The Formation of Argon
In times long ago, Argon was but a stretch of ocean--no land whatsoever. The Creator sought to create more land to house his creations, so he sent three of his best to create Argon. The first, Legendrake as it is known, spouted flames from its mouth--flames so hot that it boiled the water around it into but steam. Its flaming breath hit the bottom of the ocean, causing a massive eruption that eventually created the island that Argon sits on today. The second, Wyrmyth, writhed along the newly-formed island, creating lakes and seas wherever it felt fit. When it finished, it left the final step to the third of the trio, Tatzellore. Tatzellore was the one that made life fit for both humans and Pokemon alike by creating trees, grass, and flowers. Once this task was done, the Creator made sure that nobody else could harness this power for their own gain by sealing the three dragons inside the very island itself. It is said that if the orbs that they carried were returned to them, they would awaken once more...
The Palace of the Dragons
Once upon a time, before you or I were born, a fisherman was fishing on the river. Suddenly, his net caught a wandering Blastoise, who became wrangled in the net. Worried, the fisherman dived into the water and cut the net open, setting the Blastoise free. The Blastoise, overjoyed, invited the human to the Palace of the Dragons to meet the Princess of the Dragons, who wanted to thank him. Using strange magic, the Blastoise gave the human gills with which to breath in water, and took him down to the bottom of the sea. When he reached the Palace, marvellous in its structure, he met the Emperor and the Princess--the Princess being the Blastoise he rescued. The human stayed in the Palace for a couple of days before wanting to go back to his fishing village. So he asked the Princess and she obliged. As the human started to leave, the Princess gave him a small box, warning him not to open it. The human agreed and swam back to the surface. However, when he arrived back, he found that he had been gone for so long that the fishing village was gone. Stricken by grief, the human opened the box given to him by the Princess. When he opened the box, a magical haze erupted from it and the human suddenly grew older and older. His back bent, his beard was white and scraggly, and he was blind. And from the sea came the voice of the Princess...
"I warned you not to open it... inside was your old age..."
