Alright, here's my next installment:

How Phione Came To Be

After the many trials and hardships involved in the creating and shaping of our world, though long before recorded history, there once was a great temple that floated on the sea, and it was said to be a gift from Arceus to the newborn Humans who were populating the planet. Resting within the Temple was a small pokemon whom Kyogre, the great Titan of Water, claimed as his own. Manaphy, they called the young Prince of the Sea, and for many days and nights, Pokemon and Human alike joined in the festivities celebrating young Manaphy's arrival. But not too long after, a dark influence crept into the hearts of the people. This was Darkrai's evil influence over all humans, for though he was trapped on the deserted islet, his great and dark powers allowed his evil whispers to continue to reach people. So now, the humans, who saw Manaphy as a symbol of royalty and a source of power, sought to breed Manaphy and multiply this power. As Arceus had not yet retired to his holy reprise, he saw this dark lust for power begin to rise, and sought to quell the humans folly. Descending to the world, he stood in a towering might above the humans. The eggs they had already managed to get were carelessly stacked as they hungrily awaited the hatching. Arceus simply turned to them, and through his devine will, the eggs hatched. At first, the greedy people were thrilled. Until they saw that instead of Manaphy hatching, there were smaller, much less powerful creatures in their place. Arceus then turned to the Temple, and with a mighty upheaval in the sea, caused it to sink beneath the surface. He then told everyone that until the First Manaphy had passed from the spheres of the world, another could not be born. He said that this would be how things would be until the end of time: only one Manaphy in existance at a time. Leaving the world, the humans lamented their foolish greed, and on the desolate isle, Darkrai cackled in glee. He had once again corrupted Arceus' original plan for the world. But what Darkrai didn't know was that Arceus had forseen this event, and as such had planned ahead as to the purpose of the water faeries. Some humans took in the small things and named them Phione. Arceus then granted them extraordinary healing powers. And soon, humans came to adore the Phione for who there were.

How was this one?

Why not? If you say because it can breed, I'll cointer that with the fact that Manaphy can breed, it just can't make another Manaphy because of the incident mentioned int the myth ahead. Anyways, why does Rotom have to be legendary for Arceus to give it a special purpose? Since that's all people can seem to focus on in that post, I'll make an announce ment HERE:

To everyone who wants to critique my stories just because of Rotom; I don't care if you think Rotom is a Legendary or not. I put it in there because there is only one wild Rotom in D/P/(Pl?) and I thought it was a cool idea that Arceus made a pokemon to help us discover electricity. STOP COMPLAING ABOUT THE WAY I WRITE! If you don't think the way I said it seems right, you're all free to offer up your mythology for Pokemon.

Now, I'd like to say that if people want to offer con. crit. or compliments, that it's okay. But I'll also ask that you not leave any of the following:

A comment that is just outright mean/nasty/hurtful. Ex: 'That story sucked! You write garbage and I hope you die!!!!111!ONE'
A comment that asks me to change it just because you don't think it's right. Ex: 'Write it, but instead of (Event X) happening, change it to (Event Z)'
A comment that says gibberish and adds nothing to the discussion. Ex: I don't think this one really needs an example...

First: Correctness is objective. Second: Not what I said. I said that I thought it was legendary and that if you didn't like the way I wrote the myth, you should write your own version and show us. That's all. I didn't say that you wrote something like that. I just figured that I should take the pre-emptive apporach and warn everyone about what A) tick me off, B) isn't really okay to post, and C) probablly should be common sense.
