public censorship. i was watching an episode of home improvement, and they can't say the word fart, or play a fart sound, but they can say the *female dog* word. now what the hell is that? it may just be me, but id rather my daughter laugh at fart sounds and yell "FART!" in the cereal isle than screaming "B!TCH" everywhere she goes. does anyone realize that if swear words were just allowed to be used in schools and in public, the words would just eventually die out and be completely unrecognizable from other words within the dictionary? and call me crazy, but id rather her watch a porno flick than some of the mind-blowing (literally) gore that comes on tv today.


celebrity publicity. i dont really care that angelina jolie and brad pitt adopted a kid. people do it all the time. just cuz we see them on tv a bit more often than any other person means its more important that they adopt a kid? and what about jamie lynn getting pregnant? SHES RICH! what about the younger girl that who lives in the slums that got pregnant, and did just as good a job? why isnt she on the cover of some magazine? i dont want to read about how miley cyrus sometimes doesnt think shes pretty. congratu-effing-lations, youre just like every other teen girl in america. i dont care about how the governor of new york (or what/whoever it was) had an affair. this is america. people have affairs all the time. what right does a paparazzi have to post a famous persons sex life all over the paper, just because hes famous? "oh, well hes a public figure" what? is he going to legalize affairs because he has them? his sex life makes no difference in the way he does his business.
