Sounds like a plan. Now, I have another idea. Its a fighting technique called energy transfer. This allows you to do 2 attacks at the same time, or combining 2 attacks to create 1 brand new one. I am not sure how people can learn this though. You guys got ideas?

@ Soble: I'm at a loss... Wait. How about there's a Shadow Pokemon who's like an energy vampire, and when he tries the attack on Kevin, he stops the Pokemon mid-attack and gains the power to transfer energy, either giving it or recieving?

@ Flarsy: Some people believe that by concentrating on a flat, reflective surface, you can see the goings on of a certain place or person, but only if you've seen that place/ person before.

Okay... From the beginning:

1: There's a Shadow Pokemon who is terrorising some area by leeching their life force. (My personal preferance for this would to have it be a Shadow Crobat.)
2: Kevin and Co. arrive in the blighted area, unaware of the vampire. (I also think that something should draw Lumin away from the party so that the vampire can attack (y'know, sine vampires hate light and all).)
3: When the pokemon swoops in and attacks Kevin with the leeching attack (we can take our pick from all the varios P Draining attacks), Kevin does an attack and when the attacks collide, the power the vampire had (i.e. To transfer another creatures energy (and possibly vice versa)) becomes a special move that Kevin knows.
4: The only problem with the technique is that there has to be at least two Pokemon in a sort of range to make the thing work (either for Kevin to recieve or to give the energy.)

Still confused

I was thinking of the 2 moves literally happening at the same time (ex. sableye using shadow ball in one hand and dark pulse in the other) and 2 moves combining to make a new move (ex. tyfrog combing whirlpool and aqua jet to form a, as I would call it, Aqua Spear).

Do you get where I'm at?

I was thinking some one like Gulpin in Red Rescue Team.
I thought of something cool: Combining Hydro Pump, Fire Blast and Solar Beam will make a move called... TRIPLE FINISH!

If you've played Red Resue Team before, you would know that a Gulpin in the Pokemon Square will combine moves for you, if you pay him.

Oh. I never played red rescue team before. How does gulpin work? Do these moves get combined perminately? If so, I don't like that idea. I was thinking that the combining moves can be seperated at times.

In the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon games, there's always a pokemon who can combine attacks ffor you. These attack are not one new attack, your character can just do them right in a row. Also, you can un-combine them 3 ways:

1. By having the pokemon who combined them for you un-combine them
2. By using a Link Box (an item that can also combine moves)
3. Exhausting the Power Points of one or both of the moves, therby causing them to seperate.

Also, in reference to one of your earlier posts, it would probably be Cyclone Jet, not Aqua Spear.

In that case, I really like the idea, but I think it should be someone more mystical giving the combinations, not a gulpin.

Why not? It can help the group with puzzles, be a best friend of alakazam long ago , and be a spirit for Lumina, carrying with it, as I would call it, the purity type.
This made up type is basically light and magic combined (mainly magic) and gives off massive zen energy.

This got me thinking that each spirit should hold a type of their own to give to the recipiant when merged. (I'm thinking spirits will merge with the user to give maximum performance)
Rotom- Kevin's spirit, given type-shadow(think of it as kevin's hyper form)
Alakzam- Fern's spirit, given type - ??? (He IS the person who brought the heroes together)
Gypsong- Lumina's spirit, given type- purity

what do you think?

There's already a ??? type. It goes with Curse. So maybe Fern should get this combo type of Psychic and Magic. Should the type be called Zen, or is that stupid?
