OK, as you may or may not know, I am a relatively skilled ROM Hacker, but I always come up short while hacking for two reasons: I can't sprite or insert
new tiles and I somehow always end up coming up with a paradoxical storyline (one featured four games, Solar Orange, Verdant Green, Arctic Blue and Twilight
Black, the first three featuring Archie & Maxie, Greevil and Giovanni respectively and the final featuring Cyrus who has become a master of time and has
sent the other four forward in time to complete missions that will help him to capture Arceus, however the characters of the first three go back in time and
help the character of the fourth to defeat Cyrus. The only problem is that Dialga and Celebi were in Solar Orange and Arctic Blue respectively meaning Cyrus
had no method of travelling through time and therefore the story never happened ._.).
Anyway, I've decided that I'll need help and I don't want to do it at the PC Forums because frankly, some of the hacks I agreed to work on aren't very good and if I go back and help I'll be in the credits for crap hacks >_<; Wouldn't want that now.
So yeah, helping, right well anyone who helps will be credited and we'll collectively be known as the Knights of the Hack. I know cheesy right? I'll lay down the basic storyline and anyone who wishes to suggest changes can.
In the Annohis region, a totalitarian government (known as the Ancients) has ruled for centuries. Many freedom fighter groups have attempted to overthrow them but none have succeeded. The other regions can't access the storm-ridden region to lend aid either. The government's leader (called the Premier) is a mysterious man called Sir. He dresses in a black suit, wears a black hat, black gloves, sunglasses and a black scarf and it is believed that no one has ever seen his face. He has begun to speak at rallies of bringing about a new age, though of what he has never specified.
The Ancients have only one well-known opposer, a renegade vigilante who has opposed them for nigh on thirty years and always evades capture. A Trainer who calls himself Cindyr, who uses only non-evolving Normal-type Pokémon. He has destroyed government buildings, sabotaged military operations and even assassinated the Chancellor (second-in-command of government).
You are a member of the latest group of freedom fighters. You have been sent to try and uncover not only Sir's plans but also to discover who Cindyr is, as your superiors find them both equally dangerous. All you have to go on is an informant who can get you into a government building near the Parliament and your three Pokémon,a Chingling, an Arbok and a Lickitung.
You discover that Sir has assembled a team of scientists, including Team Rocket's Gideon and Namba and Cipher's Lovrina as well as kidnapping experts on Ice Pokémon (Pryce, Glacia and Candice) and technology (Volkner). He is building a giant ray to lower the Earth's temperature and bring about a new Ice Age.
Cindyr on the other hand is revealed to have his own specialists helping him take down the Ancients, however they are willing participants (Lucian, Morty and Karen, they are only helping to get back their colleagues). He's planning to blow up the Parliament using an old shuttle filled with explosives, however your superiors want the Parliament intact for their own reasons.
As you uncover more information on Cindyr and Sir, you begin to question your superior's motives and you have to make a tough decision about which side you want to be on.
