the main reason I want them in is for electoral reform, which neither Labour nor Conservative are planning.
See, the number of seats in Commons is meant to be representative of the actual number of MPS who were eleccted. But it isn't. Say Labour got 42% of the votes, Convservatives 36%, Lib Dems 12% and the rest are misc parties like the Raving Loonies; teh seats would be more like 50% labour, 40% conservative, adn the smaller parties get ousted all together.
Also we should get rid of Lords

Obama's stance on gay marriage seems to be like what we have here. It's marriage all but in name, and they can call it that if they want.

To respond to Skwirulu: George Bush obviously must have been intelligent enough to have been made a campaign runner in the first place, but at least part of teh reason for that was his father, and thus he gained favour with the republicans that perhasp he would have otherwise. It's hard to prove, but reasonable to assume. He also tends to make a fool of himself in public. This may not be so bad, but consider that this man is one of the most powerful in the western world. If he makes the wrong decision, people will die. If he can't make the right decision when he finds the impulse to tapdance in front of cameras, can you trust him with the big decisions?
