Pokémon Factory Worker

As of this Thursday, I am no longer a Jr. High student. Next august, I become 15 and I'll start my first year of high school. I'm just kind of listening for any advice anyone has on how to get ready for the next year. Sorry for any trouble or inconvenience this may cause.

Ok, Hers the deal. If you wish to have the same students in every single class, FORGET ABOUT IT! All class will have different students, some in varied grades 9-12, in every class. Hallways can be pretty crowded between periods also.

Work out which teachers can be tricked into changing topic in class and lead them into a long conversation about some random issue. Science and English teachers are best for this, but this can be achieved with some History teachers.

Actually, I do NOT want to be in the same class as everyone else. I'm kinda sick of being called an emo thank you very much. The whole class thing is really a blessing for me cause then I can pick and choose friends rather than being lumped with people I don't like all the time. And yes, I know about science teachers at least. soble has my problem a little closer because I'm worried about how I'll fit in socially (and no, I'm not emo. I'm a bit of a pessimist and I do look somewhat but I'm not an emotional wreck) . I live in Hawaii where everyone is Japanese, or Filipino. I'm Korean so I kinda fit in but I really act like what I am, a kid who moved in from the mainland (and not california, but from NY). Still, thanks for the feedback (MisterSmeargle, you don't really do that to your poor teachers, do you) *fails to suppress urge to laugh*

Anyways, I'll give you more advise for your friend problem. The best time to find friends is either at lunch or study hall (which is a time to do homework or study in school). Unfortunately there is no recess.

I'm not in high school, but my sister is, and from what I know from her, just avoid A-holes and keep a large arsenal of comebacks.

I tame the burninators.

Here's how the Slakoth line really goes through evolution:

Slakoth drinks a Red Bull, causing it to get hyper and evolve into Vigoroth.
The caffeine rush ends, causing Vigoroth to evolve into Slaking.

If you want to gather friends, you should definitely consider getting into some of the extracurricular stuff. If you're into music, check out the school's chorus or band, if you like sports definitely try out for a team...that way you're spending time with people you know share at least some of your interests, yes? There might be a club for practically anything, and if you don't find any...maybe you could try to start one.

I second Poryhedron´s method of making friends in extracurricular classes, but you know what? There´s bound to be plenty of stuff that should gaher you to people that share your same interests, I don´t know what they´ll be, but be prepared for anything and definitely don´t let opportunities go by! (Ugh I hate sounding like a motivational instructor).
What I know is... forget about the grades you got in junior high, whole new world there. Oh and defend your opinions from people that really matter, ignore the pointless commentaries from stupid bullies.

Ahh, 9th grade, my worst year. Back then, I was a spastic moron who bit everyone's head off at the slightest provocation. At one point, the teacher pissed me off to the point where I muttered "I'm gonna set the building on fire." Because of that, I nearly got expelled. So my only advice is to not act the way I did. You will regret it for the rest of your days.

I was like that 2 in 9t grade, except for the fire part. I almost had to deal with the police, because I walked out of school without permission, and I refused to go back in. I wanted to go home so much, that I would walk there.

well I guess Im a bit worse off since people were spreading rumours that i was mentally deranged among the parents. I'm not well liked and the bullies love to make me feel insecure. Worse, half my class is entering the same school as me. Apparently, someone went as far to say I claimed I would start a columbine in highschool... I almost freaked when I heard that. Thank the Lord that the principle knows me better than that. It still scared me though. The only thing I know is that the kid whose parent phoned in was a bully. The principle wanted to protect the guy's privacy so she wouldn't tell me exactly who it was.

If people have to go through such lengths as to falsely claim you'll start a school shooting in order to ruin your reputation, they must suffer from severe inferiority complexes. I had bullies of my own in my band class. They blew their trumpets in my ears, they poured water over my head, and lots of other stuff that made me want to just quit band altogether. I figured I'd just ignore them and not give them any attention, but then I decided that I wasn't going to take it anymore and told my parents, who then told my band teacher and the principal.

Those kids never spoke to me again.
