Story line 2 |

I'm creating this topic, so I can figure out how the story line works for Free Spirit stories,
so I don't get a negative comment from Poryhedron after the 1st or 2nd post. Could the staff here please explain it 2 me? |

The first post in the registration topic said most of it, but this is a resume: you start out in Manifold Forest, wether your character has lived there all its
life or if it has only recently arrived from somewhere else. Then, you feel there's a disturbance in the balance of nature and set out to find what's
wrong. Along the way you may meet other pokémon or face-off with shadow pokémon, who are like nearly mindless zombies, but that instead of saying only
"brains", they can oly say "revenge"; nothing else. They are being controlled by the evil Exodus, though your character shouldn't learn that until much later in the story.

1. Is there a specific route the story is taken?
2. Is any staff posts needed in the story, besides exodus? 3. Is it basically like pokemon mystery dungeon? |

1. Not necessarily, but so far many have chosen the supernatural center of the Cargan Desert as a possible goal.
2. If a staff member decides to make a cameo in your story, and also for Exodus' most powerful minions. 3. I haven't played those games, but from what I've read about them, I'd say yes, though there is no pokémon town as far as I know. |

What happens to the shadow pokemon after you defeat it?

Defeat what? A random shadow pokémon?
|

Yah. Just any shadow pokemon.

Well I would imagine it faints, but you never know, if you cause a landslide in the process it might die. The fan fic I'm writing is pretty violent for a
Pokémon fic, PG 13 at least.

After it faints, does it turn back to normal, or disintegrate, or something else like that?

No, it just faints. That's an obvious answer really, try reading an RP rather than wasting time with silly questions.

Well, it actually depends on your version of the story... in the topic where ShinE, Miravistel and I are in (I could call it the offcial topic but that would
really be too arrogant on my part, so I won't), shadow pokémon are nearly invincible: when you faint them, they almost immediately recover, because Exodus
commands so (its influence gives shadow pokémon power beyond their limits). In other words, we can slow them down, but not stop them... unless you really do
enough damage to kill them like MisterSmeargle said of course, but that wouldn't be nice and shouldn't be allowed, specially since shadow pokémon can
be returned to normal.

Oh I see. Thanks. I can't kill though, it ruins my skin tone. I would hate to be a "red-neck."
