"Sure! Oh, but first, let's hit that Karaoke Contest! I want to win a prize!" Damien said, laughing as the walked out of the Pokemon Center and into the heart of Bastion City.

Damien quickly took a beak from cheering to wander outside and bask in the sights of the city. As he walked with his cheer squad, he noticed a sign over by the Pokémart which had many bright colors and large print. "Hm. Looks like something exciting is going on!" Damien commented, and walked over to the curio stand next to the entrance. A shady looking man with a mustache and shades on was showing off a case of ordinary Pokéballs like they were made of solid gold with Mews inside. "Ah, you like what you see, non? These are rare Pokémon not normally found ANYWHERE but a secret valley in Bombur. You want, yes?" he said. Damien thought about it for a moment. "Sure!" he said, and handed over a rather meagre sum of Pokédollars for one of the Pokéballs. This brought his party count up to six in total. Damien was so excited; he couldn't wait to show Andy and Seth his new and rare Pokémon. As he re-entered the gym, he waved his Pokédex over the Pokéball to see an assessment of the Pokémon within. To his dismay, rage, and horror, the following Dex Entry appeared:

He was stunned. He had actually PAID money for a cruddy Pokémon like this? He almost threw the Pokéball out the nearest window in the hopes in might shatter. Almost. Instead, he breathed deep and decided he would raise it with love and care like any other Pokémon he had.
