"I was thinking you'd use a grass type." Lance smirked. "Double Team GO!!" Shellder multiplied and surrounded Rotor. "Now use Icicle Spear!" The shellders shot strands of pure ice at the Grass pokemon.

"Rapid Spin!" Seth called. Rotato starting its wild spinning, and the Icicle Spears twirled around it and they were sent back at the Shellder. The clones disappeared, leaving the real one wide open. "Use Bullet Seed!" he called again. Rotato started shooting the seeds at Shellder like... bullets.

Damien sighed. The battle was really getting heated up. That was until he found a hand with manicured nails clamped over his mouth and he was being dragged off. He quickly returned Raven and Jack, and then kicked and struggled, but the hand over his mouth and the one holding his wrists against his back wouldn't let up. He was finally tossed across a clearing, and he got up to see none other than his sister Cassandra. "You are so SLOW, runt. I was waiting forever for you to show up at Bastion City, but no; I find you here playing with these commoners. You're pathetic," she sneered. Damien got up slowly, brushing off his clothes (which had 'magically' reverted to his normal clothes), and faced Cassandra. "You know something, Cassandra? You're the pathetic one. You may have strong Pokemon, but you don't know how to love them and raise them right. You'll always be after new ones, because after a few battles, the ones you have won't be growing fast enough to satisfy your delusions of grandeur," Damien said. Cassandra laughed. "I don't care if I have to keep catching new ones. As long as I keep winning, it doesn't matter," she said. Damien raised his Pokeball. "I challenge you to a Pokemon Battle."

"Raven, use your beak to get at Ekans, and then Tackle it!" Damien said, and Raven began to poke at Ekans with its beak and scratching at it. It loosened its grip enough to allow Raven some wiggle room, and she used it to get free. Raven then landed and launched herself squarely into Ekans' jaw.

Meanwhile...

Rotato recovered from the blow fairly quickly and Rapid Spinned at Seth's command towards Shellder to force open the shell.

"Counter with Bullet Seed!" Seth returned. Rotato shot the seeds, once again, but they couldn't penetrate the ice. The spears hit it and it had about 1 HP left. "Quickly! Absorb!" Rotato, barely getting up, shot the Absorb beam thingy at Shellder.

Meanwhile...

It was clear to see. Ekans had feinted. "You little brat!! Ekans return." She recalled ekans to its pokeball. "Go growlithe!!" She threw the pokeball and popped out the fire dog. Growling ferociously at Raven. Andy was in shock. "She has a growlithe TOO?!" Andy said in shock.
