"Lance?" questioned Seth. He had never heard of such a guy. He wondered why Lance was holding the Possesword instead of the Possesword being by his side like everyone normal he had met with Pokemon.

((Seth never met Lance. He was elsewhere with Huck at the time. Speaking of which, I think it might (just maybe) be time that he posted here.))

Huck had watched Seth's fight with interest and complimented the young trainer after he had captured the Pineco. "Great job, kiddo. I'm very curious as to how your new pokémon will behave under your command," the woodworker said, in regard to the Pineco's habit of cloaking itself.
Once Lance appeared, Huck stood by, watching as the trainers introduced themselves to each other.

Damien came up and poked Huck. "Hi huck," he said. "Do you know the best way to care for Arachne here?" he asked, showing him his newest Pokemon. "Y'see, I've never dealt with Pokemon that weren't... mammal-ish until Exo, but even then, he's warm like a mammal, so it wasn't quite as different. The woodworker thought for a moment. "Well, the most important thing to remember about Spinarak is that the face on their backs show their mood. "I don't mind a quick battle. I haven't had one since I beat Chris back in Anchorus, and I've been here a while, so it'd be nice to stretch my battle legs before I go and challenge Calleo." Seth grabbed Scorpion's Poke Ball (after the battle with Pineco, she was exhausted so he returned her) and was ready to go.

The poison stings hit their mark. Hoothoot's wings were pinned toward the ground. "Good tactic, but not good enough. Use Substitute!" The hoothoot that was pinned down dissapeared. A 'new' hoothoot reappeared behind the billiowip. "Now peck it!"

"You can do it, Seth!" Damien cheered, and he called out Raven and Exo, who both 'magically' donned cheerleader outfits, along with Damien, and began cheering for Scorpion. Damien ignored the 'WTH!?' looks he got from Andy and Seth. "I splurged a little in Bastion. You never know when you guys will need a cheerleader!" he said.

Hoothoot didn't anticipate Scorpion's speed and got slashed vigorously by the Cut. Soon, it collapsed and feinted. "Nice job Hoohoot," said Lance as he returned hoothoot to his ball. "Well played Seth. Now lets see how you do against this pokemon. I call...SHELLDER!!" A spunky shellder apeared from her pokeball, hoping up and down in excitement.
