"Well, if you look at those Burmy, they don't have any flowers on them." Seth explained, looking up. He observed the tree. "Hey look, it's Pineco!" he said, pointing at the green pinecone, partially covered in leaves. "Do you think we can somehow trap it?"

"... I like that plan. You listening, Xoskillitn? When Florabloom is released, you need to be ready for battle at any moment." Seth explained. Scorpion looked at Seth. "Xo?" it replied. "...Good point. Um, Huck, what exactly does a Florabloom look like?" he asked.

((That was sad, soble. It took you five seconds to catch up with something that took a few pages for me to do. That's just sad. I wasn't at the entrance, or even close. I think I was somewhere in between the blue and yellow clearings, but way off to the side.))

Seth was staring, mouth agape. He was stunned by the sudden turn of events. He was brought back to Earth when Huck spoke to him. "Oh, huh? Uh, yeah. Scorpion, Scratch it down from the tree!" he said. Scorpion sat there. "Scorpion, not again! The Pineco is getting away!" Scorpion looked at Seth, then pointed at the tree. "What is i- oh right. Heh-heh..." Scorpion was pointing right through the murder. "Huck, I think you should release Florabloom now. Just in case." Seth pondered. How do I get around the murder, without disturbing the rest of the forest? No wait! I've done this before... Seth went into flashback mode...

"Flame, Peck it!" Seth called. "Chic!!!" the Torchic yelled, leaping at a Yanma, situated on a tree. "Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaannnnnnnnnnnn!" the Yanma replied, zooming out of the way. Torchic crashed into the tree. It shook, and a whole flight of Taillow flew out, and they started flying around aimlessly in a panic, totally blocking the way to Yanma, who was hiding behind another tree. "What?! Stupid Taillow!!!" Seth tantrumed, and then went into thought. He started looking around. Then he saw two trees at a close distance to each other, with a trai of branches leading to Yanma's tree. It also happened to pass harmlessly over the flight. A spark went off in his mind. "Flame, you don't mind if we monkey around, right? "Flame was confused, and expressed that by giving a funky face at Seth. "Of course you don't get it..." he sighed. "Flame, go over to those two trees next to each other, and hop from one trunk to the other until you reach those branches! Then swing over to the Yanma!" he ordered. Seth was planning to have Torchic wall jump up and across to Yanma.

"Oh yeah, that's it!" he exclaimed. "But can I find two trees like that again?"

((FYI: Seth and Torchic were in Petalburg Woods at the time. Also, there won't be two trees leading to the branches, but one. Scorpion can jump off of the one and make it.))

Seth looked around some more. He was looking for more branches for Scorpion swing on. He was sure he had checked everywhere, but then something caught his eye. Branches! But only one tree... He looked for another tree for Scorpion to leap from. None that were safe. So that meant Scorpion had to use the one. But how? Seth considered Scorpion's amazing speed. Could he make it to the branches in one jump? he thought. Well, it's worth a shot. "Scorpion, run up that tree over there and swing on the branches over to Pineco! Then Scratch it!" Scorpion did as told. She dashed over to the tree and up it as if it was the ground. She then leaped to the branches and swung across. In no time, Pineco was on the ground, underneath Scorpion. Luckily, at that time, the murder of Murkrow got their act together and flew off. Nothing was stopping Seth now.

"Scratch it some more!" Scorpion starting Scratching furiously at Pineco. It started building energy as if the Scratches were nothing. "Scorpion, get out of therr"! Scorpion leapt off and the Pineco exploded. "Ember it!" Scorpion unleashed the flames at Pineco. It was sent back. Landing on its feet- er, um, bottom?- it charged a Tackle at Scorpion. "Counter-Scratch!" Scorpion charged back at it, but right before they collided, Pineco put up a shield and Scorpion could react in time, harmlessly giving the shield a few Scratches. The Pineoc put down the shield and instantly charged another Tackle. Scorpion was hit hard. "Try Poison Stinging it to the ground!" Scorpion, getting up. launched the needles at Pineco. Since it had no way of matrixing them (being a ball), it was pinned tp the ground by some of its edges. "Use your Fury Scratch Attack thingy... if you know what I mean." Scorpion knew exactly what Seth was talking about. It sped over to the Pineco and started Scrathing it constantly. Soon, the Pineco had had enough, and exploded. Scorpion parryed the attack again, but the needles... not so much. They were ashes now. Pineco starting another Tackle, but it didn't last long. The Pineco collapsed, exhausted. "You're mine!" Seth yelled, tossing a Poke Ball to Pineco. It was sucked inside, and the Ball started wiggling. It stopped. Pineco was caught!

Seth took out his PokeDex and scanned the Ball:

"Alright." Then, a bright light appeared. It was Scorpion! It was evolving! The small body enlarged itself and so the the pincers. Out of its back came a stinger. When the transformation was done, Seth looked at the new Pokemon. "Bill! Billowhip!" it called. Its voice had lowered. "Oh Scorpion! I'm so happy for you! You finally got a stinger!" Scorpion nodded. It seemed to be having a hard time using it, though. "Ah, you'll get used to it eventually." He scanned Scorpion to see if it had learned any new moves. It hadn't.

((By the way, I think it's time Scorpion evolved. It has battled many strong pokemon. Ambiton, Victreebel, Gyarados, Mudkip (I didn't forget Chris!), and Aaron's Pokemon.))
