"Well, now that that is out of the way, we can be on our way to Bastion City!" Damien smiled and then looked around. "Where is the path to Route B?" He looked about and noticed that one of the Oddishes was nearby. "Hi there, little raddish-thing!" The Oddish jumped a little. "Oh, no reason to be startled! Here, smell this!" Damein pulled out another glass bottle. This one was filled with sakura petals. The aroma wafted from the lip of the vial and the Oddish sniffed at it. "Wanna come along with me?" It nodded slightly. "Well, then, let's battle!" He pulled out the Pokeball of Jack. "Andy, Seth, watch me!"

==BATTLE!==

Jack sized up the competition as Oddish got ready. "Jack, use Leer!" Jack coplied, sending a sharp look at Oddish that seem to entrance it into lowering its defenses. Oddish then launched an Acid attack at Jack, who recoiled from the stinging liquid. "Jack, I think you should use your head!" Jack took the hint and used Headbutt, slamming its large head into Oddish, who fell onto its small behind. Damien got out a great ball, and threw it at Oddish. Though it struggled, it couldn't escape, and it finally ceased to move. "All right! Let's see your stats!" Damien said, waving his Pokedex over the Pokeball:

==BATTLE OVER==

"Well, that was fun!" Damien said, turning to face the group again. "I think I'll name her... Blossom!"

"Five. I have Exo, Raven, Jack, Molly, and now Blossom," Damien answered. He was still looking around for the path to Route B. "I can't find a single way that looks like it leads to Bastion City..."

"I can teach you. I learned to cook for myself a long time ago. ANd I know the secret to making a Pokemon crave your food like it was their life-force!" Damien laughed, then waved to the Upsidaze. "Hello! Thanks for the short lift!" He tossed it a taro bun from his box lunch at it, and it happily munched on it as it moved on from the clearing. Damien laughed and trned around. "Oh, I haven't had this much fun since..." Damien trailed off, his smile waning. "Well, it's the most fun I've had in a while." Damien looked to Huck. "It looked like you were going to say something earlier."
