Scorpion is weak against his Water attacks, and Rotor can't take down that thing using Rapid Spin. It'll run out of PP! Unless..." Seth took out his PokeDex and scanned Rotor. It had grown to level 9! Actually 10, but this means it can use Absorb! "What about Scorpion?" He scanned Scorpion. It grew to level 13, and had learned Ember. Not that Ember would help. "Great! I think Rotor can do it now! And Scorpion can help with his Poison Stings." The Gyarados roared loudly. "Let's start off with the Poison Spin combo! Actually two! But have both Poison Stings come before any Rapid Spinning! We must pin it down!" Xoskillitn let fly two Poison Stings which accurately hit the fins and stuck them to the ground. The Gyarados roared again, and searing blue flames came out of its mouth. "Dodge guys! What is that move?" He scaned the Gyarados. "Gyarados, the Atrocious Pokemon. This Pokémon has a vicious temperament, so use extreme caution. Its fangs can crush stones and its scales are harder than steel." The machine hummed. (This dex is the same as Ash's because I wanted something from the anime and this was the only thing there. However, I added the Atrocious part.) The Gyarados knew Thrash, Bite, and Dragon Rage. "Well, Dragon Rage inflicts 40 damage, making it the weakest of its attacks, and while pinned, its only attack." Rotor was spinning rapidly around the Gyarados and it seemed to be turning red from anger. It shoke violently, and sent Rotor flying over to the group and broke free of its poisonous trap. It was enraged, and used Thrash. "Now might be the time for some help! Guys, run away from it! And use Poison Sting and Absorb while you're at it!" Scorpion and Rotor started running around the perimeter of the clearing and occasionally turning around and using attacks on the Gyarados. When they were running, it looked like a game of tag.

((You mean a third caught pokemon? I'm going to catch that Gyarados. So a Shinx would work, I guess.))
The Shinx was determined to help, and went in with a Spark. The Gyarados flew back and hit a tree, knocking it over. It was paralysised. "I don't think it's ready yet. Rotor, use Rapid Spin!" rotor executed a Rapid Spin on the Gyarados, and it seemed to curl up in a ball. "That's a Gyarados? They never act this way. Well, it's time!" Seth threw his Great Ball. Gyarados was sucked inside.
