Well this is another rumor ...

They have found loads of evidence in the games and in the anime that there might be a possibility of Gold and Silver Remakes...

What do you people think about this rumor?

I used to believe the rumors were just wishful thinking on the part of hardcore Gen2 fans, but when I found out that Diamond/Pearl has Catch Location data for pokémon "from Johto", I changed my mind. It now seems inevitable. Also, I've heard the names "DawnSilver" and "DuskGold" are trademarked by Nintendo (though I think the reverse, DawnGold and DuskSilver, would make more sense...)

I was expecting remakes as soon as I heard that the day and night cyclus was back... I don't mind them, they were awesome games ^-^

that would be probobly be just about the COOLEST THING EVER! silver an gold were the best! especially if they included the thing from silver and gold where you get to go back to kanto to beat the other 8 gym leaders.

Maybe also in the remake, you can travel on a boat to hoen AND Sinnoh, and challenge gym leaders there.

I HAVE the game shinygold, it is a Gold version with Ruby and Sapphire style pics. Everything LOOKs real, but it is fake.

I'm not surprised in the slightest that fans would make such ROM edits. There are a lot of Gold/Silver fans out there who were enormously diappointed in Ruby/Sapphire for reasons like loss of the day/night cycle and inability to visit or even trade from the old areas.

If the rumors are true, i am very excited. I cant wait to play the game!! i may hafta hit up ebay for the olld versions.....lawl.
i cant wait till the rumors are confirmed and we get more info, everyone keep a lookout!

Umm... they ARE confirmed. In fact, they were confirmed over a month ago. Go to the sticky topic "GS Remakes!" in pokemon Chat.
