People.. I am not sure if I am supposed to do this, but I found out that the third game for Diamond and Pearl is coming out in September. This is all speculation however..?
I heard thAT THE WERE GOING TO CALL IT Pokemon Platinum(Platina)

I also heard that Giratina, Regigigas, Shaymin, and Giratina's new forms are going to appear in the game as well..

Hopefully I am not giving obvious information...

I'm not sure, some things here are a bit dodgy. What does Platinum have to do with Diamond or Pearl or even Giratina for that matter? I did some more research, Ice Shaymin? Sky Regigigas? A lot of this is fairly convincing...but we'll see.

I also agree with MisterSmeargle.. What DOES Platinum have to do with Giratina..Nothing..But Opal does..or Tourmaline..or Girasol..Amethyst..Right? X]

I think they chose platinum, because kids 8 and higher could know what it means. If I was 8, I wouldn't know what Tourmaline was.

Um, I'm not liking this alternate forms thing. It was OK for novelty pokémon like Unown, Castform, Burmy and also for Deoxis, but this is overdoing it in my opinion. I hope at least one of these alternate forms are just unfounded rumors (well, excluding Giratina's which was already confirmed of course).

Yeah, Regigigas's moss is going to grow into wings and he'll fly, then Shaymin'll get a cold and turn to ice. makes perfect sense.

I think that it should be the other way around, with Shaymin having wings made of grass, and Regigigas being frozen solid (he is, after all, found in the Snowpoint Ruins)

Slakoth drinks a Red Bull, causing it to get hyper and evolve into Vigoroth.
The caffeine rush ends, causing Vigoroth to evolve into Slaking.

Well... This get curious since they are learning a new word... but then again, kids would never question the name of the game because, they only want to play the gme..

and yeah they are starting to overdo it with alternate forms... blame Generation IV for this... I also hear rumors of other games.. Such as remakes of Gold and Silver, but I am going to post that elsewhere... x)

The Japanese call 'Platinum' differently, namely 'Platina'... Could it be in Giratina's name?

If you think about it Giratina could be GIRAsol and plaTINA. But that doesn't make sense because the bands on Giratina's body are the wrong colour for platinum. But you never know with Nintendo, they go screwy with colours all the time.

I just noticed that Giratina's sprite looks very different from the Sugimori art...the head disappoints me.

They ruined the head for its first form too, so I'm not surprised. I might try my hand at it again if I decide to add it to the National Dex.
