For all I know, I know that Bug-Steel, Water-Dragon, Water-Ground, and Dark-Ghost are the best type combos, defensively. I want to know, what do you guys here think are the best type combos, including pf types?

Actually, I've read that the best defensive typing is Steel/Electric, having two 4x resistances (Flying and Steel), ten 2x resistances (Normal, Rock, Bug, Ghost, Grass, Electric, Psychic, Ice, Dragon, Dark) and immunity to Poison, while it has only one 4x weakness (Ground) and two 2x ones, Fire and Fighting. Adding PF types it becomes even more formidable, with two additional 2x resistances for a grand total of twelve, Wind and Light. It is neutral towards Magic and Water.

Magic/Steel is also an excellent defensive combination; it has two 4x resistances (Dark and Wind), nine 2x ones (Normal, Bug, Flying, Ghost, Grass, Ice, Psychic, Water, Light) and immunity to Poison as well, while it only has one weakness, Fighting, and it is only 2x.

Wind/Fighting is a good offensive combo. It hits Dark, Ice, Normal, Rock, Steel, Fire, Flying, Ghost, Ground, Light and Wind.

I just had a good idea Why don't you add to the site, a type chart, but automated. You can type in (or search for) 2 types in a type combo, see what the strengths and weaknesses are, offensive and defensive, and it can show you if the type combo is in any pokemon, real and pf.

Believe it or not, the site actually has a function like that. However, it is far from completed, as it is whole load of work and as of yet not operational. We're currently looking into easier ways of doing the chart.
