ROB, probaly the most the least well known and the most controvertial addition to the SSBB character roster. When people saw the final Brawl roster picture and saw that Ridley was nowhere to be found, fanboys raged across the forum pages,seeing that the purple Pterodactyll, dragon thing wasn't in there, when the robot with cup holders for hands was. Whats your opinion on this? ROB or Ridley, who deserved to be in Brawl more? In my opinion, ROB. I was never really a Metroid fan and I've always had a soft spot for ROB. Also, this topic gives me an excuse to post this:

I say ridley. He's a badass, and he's more known, and hes a dragon; I LOVE DRAGONS! ROB is the least likely character I would think would be in this game. I hoped megaman would be in it.

Ridley WAS in Brawl. Maybe you should play the Subspace Emissary. But if you mean as a playable character, Ridley would not make the cut. Ridley is much too big and much too powerful. R.O.B. is a better choice.

I agree with the above statement, there is no way that Ridley would have been an enjoyable and fair Brawler. I go with R.O.B. Also because I love delving into the past and bringing them into the future.

I agree that ridley is an unfair brawler, but that doesn't mean he shouldn't be in it. He has 2 bosses, regular and metal. He is one hell of a cool boss. I say ROB should have stayed in his robes.

I'd just like to say to those who think Ridley is too big, in other games, so is Bowser. You could just shrink Ridley. Also, I know that Ridley is a boss in SSE, he's an awesome boss. In my opinion, Meta Ridley is the second hardest boss in the game (next to Tabuu)

Um.. Meta Ridley IS the second hardest boss. He comes right before Tabuu, if you don't count the great maze.

Definitely ROB. He always had a way of appearing in various games, from F-Zero, to Pikmin, to even WarioWare! He was hardware even! He was important to Nintendo sales, just like Game-And-Watch. I sort of predicted this to happen. Ridley was, as Sakurai states in Nintendo Power, a little big, and that he didn't really consider him a character option. However, if he worked on it enough, he said he could make Ridley a character, but it would be slow. Personally, ROB tops the sense of Ridley being in Brawl 6 times!

You know, that's a good point; ROB's been in a lot lately. I wonder if Nintendo is planning on a ROB peripheral for the Wii?

I was actually discussing how awesome that would be with a freind of mine thismorning. The sensor bar would definetely be fit for that.

You know what BonzaiRob that is a really good point, but hopefully it will be more interactive and have a lot more games than just... two I believe.

Yes, I even thought of a good name for a new ROB: (drum roll please) ROB 2.0 (chirping sound) I know it's not imaginative, but I like it. Also, I think a 3D Gyromite would be awesome.
