I was looking at the bombar map, and I notised that there is no marsh. you have a leech pokemon, so woulden't one need to have a marsh to for it to apper naturaly?

Leeches don't necessarily need to live in marshes. They technically live anywhere with abundant water, like lakes and rivers as well as marshes.

Besides, the leech pokemon is a starter. You don't catch it anywhere.

That's right, though since our RPG is influenced by the anime, where starter pokémon are sometimes found in the wild, they are also available here, though they are classified as rare and thus require permission from Bonzai to be caught. Coincidentally, Sukus is the only one of PF's starters that has a fixed location in Bombur, the Parfum River (check the placement list). Skwurilulu's answer is correct, then.

This also has effects on the appearance of Carnivine, Croagunk and Toxicroak, whom as of yet appear only in the Great Marsh.

When you think about it we shouldn't be so strict on where we find specific pokemon. With Toxicroak and Croagunk you could find one in a forest, as well as carnivine, but seeing as they're Sinnoh pokemon they're probably rare.

Muk, Grimer, Poliwag line, Burmy Line, Bug Types, Koffing and Weezing, Rattata and raticate, bactrun, Mermage, Murkrow line, Paras and Parasect, Typhrog, Velton and Velute, Sylphine Line, Struffle, Turtlin Line, Slymolt can alll belong in the swamp.

Why the Murkrow line(does the line include Honchkrow?) And what about Windpole & Hurricroak? I defenatly see Hurricrak in a swamp.

You mustn't actually know what a swamp is, because you see, anyone who knows what a swamp is wouldn't put a large group of Pokémon who can poison and destroy the eco system in a swamp. The only one that did make sense was Bug-types but even then, not all Bug-types would fit into a swamp, I mean, can you imagine an Infernant doing well in a place filled with damp mud,water and flammable gases?

Well Bibarel & Bidoof fit. And besides Mothim, maybe he was talking the Sand Cloak for the burmy line. Or maybe Trash Cloak...

Bactrun, Grimer, andSlymolt are all gooey and swamp-looking. Plus, the turtlin line will also fit. And flarsable is right, i meant trash cloak for burmy. There are a LOT of bugs that fit into swamps too, like yanma line, The mosquito thing(i forgot whats it called), insomite, Pyerfly, etc.
I also found others, but i cant list them all.

Yes there are a lot of Pokemon that can fit into a swamp environment that reside in Bombur, but the real issue is that we don't need a swamp or a marsh in Bombur. As of now all the pokemon within the archives can be placed into different ecological areas, and that includes the pokemon from Sinnoh. I hate to quote the Anime but James and Brock found pokemon that, in the game, are only found in the marsh (croagunk and carnivine) in forested areas.
