Thanks, and sure, I'll join the band, if XeR0's character can too. I promised him I'd be his partner. I really put my heart and soul into this character. I even based him off myself, including the short attention span (I have the attention span of 4 year-old.... chimpanzee)

Aaron opened up the lab door and smiled at the soon-to-be trainer. "Hello, Drew," he said cheerfully. "Here for your first pokemon, are you? Come on in." He held the door open and beckoned for the boy to enter.

In the large roon just inside the building, there sat a couple tables; one had several rows of pokeballs, each labeled to let people which of Bombur's typical starter pokemon they contained. The second table held a collection of other pokeballs, each with a random pokemon inside. Aaron gestured at the tables and said, "Do you know which pokemon you'd like to chose?"

Interrupting Aaron mid-sentence, Drew said, "Holliguana." Aaron handed Drew the Pokeball. Drew tossed the ball up and down. Suddenly he fumbled, catching the red and white orb inches above the ground. He pressed the large circular button on the front of the ball and a red light emanated from the button, materializing a sleeping green lizard. It opened one eye, stood up on its hind legs and yawned. It started walking around the lab with a dazed look in its eyes. Drew smiled at the Holliguana. It appeared to understand and smiled back. The creature yawned again, letting out a long, tired, "Holliguuuaaanaaaaa." The diminutive little lizard continued exploring his surroundings, while Drew took off his backpack. He opened up the backpack and took out a sleek, silver laptop. He clicked on something on the upper right corner of the screen and the following words appeared on it:

Welcome to the Pokencyclopedia

He typed the word "Hooliguana" and the following words popped-up on the screen:

#001 FA Holliguana
The Pointy Pokemon
HT 2'03" WT 20.0 lbs.
Types: Grass/Poison

When it is getting colder outside, HOLLIGUANA searches for a
comfortable rock. It will lie down on it and sun itself for hours
to get warm. Occasionally, it falls asleep. When this happens,
it may freeze.

Starting Moves:
Scratch [normal]
Growl [normal]

Aaron looked over Drew's shoulder at the laptop's screen. "Well, that's useful," he commented. "A pokedex is a lot smaller lighter, though, so I think it better suits a traveling pokemon trainer. In any case, it seems you have the basic information on your new pokemon. That machine," He pointed to a device in the corner of the room, "could also have told you some more info. Though since I can tell you without it that your Holliguana is male and level 5, there's not much new information it can tell you."

Aaron headed for a door at the back of the room and said, "Now then, if you're ready for your final class, please follow me." He led Drew through the door to a room that had a an open roof, and a grassy floor with rows of white flowers marking the lines of a pokemon battle field. "Your last class is your first Gym battle! Are you ready?"

"Doo loo loo loo loo loo doo loo," sang Drew. Aaron stared at him questioningly and said, "What?" Drew was startled by this question and replied, "Nothing." Drew followed up by saying before we start fighting, I need to do something first." He opened up his laptop again and clicked on the Garage band icon. He scrolled down the songs and chose "Battle Mix 1." Aaron replied, "Don't you think you're overdoing it." Andrew said, "Yes, yes I am, anyway, Holliguana,get ready to battle." Holliguana instantly responded and came running from the other side of the lab and stood in front of Drew in a fighting stance. Andrew than said, "Also Aaron, the reason that I keep a Pokencyclopedia on my laptop is to find information on Pokemon that I haven't seen yet, it's even updated if a new Pokemon is discovered."

Edit: OK, it's been a few days now, please continue Miravistel.

Ferris tentatively stepped into the pokemon lab. He furrowed his brow, trying to remember what Prof. Rowan had said to him a week earlier. He said to look for the Bombur Professor. What was his name? Ferris thought to himself, Colorado? Dakota? Idaho? That's it! Idaho.
"Professor Idaho?!?" he called out. When no response came back he thought back to Rowan's words, "Ask for Professor Idaho, an old colleague of mine. If he's not there, ask for his new aide, Aaron,"
Ferris thought this over, then cried out, "Mr. Aaron?" When, once again, no response came, Ferris walked further into the lab. He looked at various gadgets and gizmos, before he heard a noise, which sounded like strange music. Ferris froze in fear, wondering if he had done something wrong. He then continued walking until he came to a door.
"Hello?" he called out again, before, against his better judgement, pushed the door open. He stopped and gasped. He stumbled across a battle!

(OOC: Sorry, I've been busy lately and sort of forgot about PF for a bit. I know it's no excuse, and I'll try to stay around more.)

Aaron heard someone call "Hello?" and the door open. He looked over to see someone, presumably a new trainer, at the door. "Here to get your first pokemon?" he asked. "Pick one off the tables in the lab, they're labeled to say what pokemon are in them. I'll be with you after this battle; you can use the time to meet your pokemon." The he turned back to the battlefield.

"Now, let's get started, shall we? Go, Nevermore!" Aaron tossed his pokeball onto the field, which opened up to reveal a small, dark-colored bird with a long beak.

Holliguana's first attack struck Nevermore solidly, his claws raking across Nevermore's feathers.

"Start off with a Growl," instructed Aaron.

His pokemon hopped a couple steps backward before letting out a loud growl.

((OCC: Sorry to interrupt the batle))

Ferris walked back inside and came across the table Aaron talked about. Holliguana, Comolten, Ninemone, he silently read the labels, before picking up two pokeballs.
"Now do I want Sukus or Xoskillitn?" he asked himself, but his subconcious asked: Do I want Myrath or Clawrion? He used his hands as if they were a scale, weighing the pros and cons of both pokemon, then put one down. "I choose you Sukus!"
There was a flash of red light, and then, standing before him, was the leech pokemon. It blinked in the artificial light of the lab, before squirming away. Ferris was stunned, before coming back to his senses and yelling, "Sukus get back here!" This had no effect as the pokemon kept on moving towards the door, before pushing it open and 'walking' into the middle of a gym battle.

Holliguana covered his ears, but quickly regained his composure, despite the fact that his ears were still ringing. "Well two can play at that game," said Drew smuggly. "Holliguana, use Growl, then follow up with a Scratch attack."

When Aaron noticed the door open, he glanced over to it and saw Ferris and Sukus. "Ah, you came for your first pokemon?" he asked Ferris. "And I see you already picked one. If you return it to its pokeball, there's a machine by the wall in the lab that'll let you learn more about it. Fee free to make use of it and get to know your pokemon; I'll be with you after this battle." Then he turned back to the battle.

As he had been talking, Nevermore had been nit by both of Holliguana's attacks. It had flown up into the air as it waited for another command.

"Tackle it, Nevermore!" called Aaron.

His pokemon dove down to try to slam into Holliguana.

Ferris fumbled with the pokeball, before returning Sukus. He walked away, embarrased, and back into the lab. He placed the pokeball on the machine as Aaron stated, and waited for it to process the pokemon's info.

(Also, if anyone is wondering why I haven't been posting as much, I started I Gaia account [names Boooored, friend me if you have an account] and ITS FREAKING ADDICTING)

Aaron frowned at the commend. Attacking an opposing pokemon's eye could cause it serious injury, and was not very sportsmanlike. Luckily Nevermore was fast enough to pull its head out of the way just in time, and Holliguana's claws scratched alng its side as it flew past instead. Then Nevermore flew back up to get away from those claws.

"Nevermore, dive down for a Peck," commanded Aaron. Nevermore obediently flew at Holliguana beak-first.

"Brace for impact, Holliguana!" Drew yelled, for he knew that it was too late for Holliguana to dodge or attack. "Also, try to scratch at it if you get the chance." Holliguana nodded in approval.
