"Haw! Nevermore? That's a flying pokmon! So, I guess I'll use..." Niklix flings his pokball into the arena and the ghostly Stalker emerges. "Things are getting dark for you, Aaron, as... hey! Things are getting dark!" yelled Niklix as the light in the room slowly began to diminish.

"Hrmph" Niklix grumbled as he pulled his pants back on. "Let's do this right, Stalker." Niklix opened his case and pulled out his violin. He struck the bow across the strings making a dreadful skreech. It was entirely by accident, but to his suprise, Stalker responded possitively to the frightening misnote and leered fiercely at Ledyba.

The tackle hit strait on and Stalker is knocked back. Stalker looked pretty weak. It has taken quite a beating in the first battle. Niklix got his barings and pulled his bow across his violin. A rising minor scale in A to warm up and he was ready to go. But Stalker had disappeared, again. Suddenly the field grew darker.

Niklix suddenly let out a screach as he struck a sour note on his violin. Ledyba's growl was nearly drownded out and it made the bug pokmon wince in distaste. The distraction allowed Stalker to slip away in the darkness.
The field suddenly went silent. Stalker was no where in sight.
Slowly, Ledya took turned slowly twards its master for guidance, who was also quite difficult to see in the darkness. Just then, an icey hand carressed the back of its neck. Ledyba spun its head around to find nothing there.
Ledybe takes another step as a gaunt apparition emerges from its shadow. Ledyba hears an asparate sigh just over its shoulder and it darts around to catch its oppent, who instantly disappears back into the shadows.
Now Stalker is just messing with Ledyba. Its a psycological battle. Stalker knows that it is in no position to fight a physical battle. If he is going to win, he is going to have to scare his opponent into submission.
Niklix slowly begins plucking the theme from halloween on his violin. This air feels dense. Will Ledyba cave in?

The growl came out more as a whimper and it made it all the more easy for Stalker to find Ledyba in the darkness. Ledyba looked down at its shaking knees and suddenly realized its shadow was a little bit taller than it should be. In fact, there was barely any light sorce at all. The shadow slowly stood up and stretched itself to its full six feet before Ledyba. Stalker leered down at the bug with eyes burning in shadow. Ledyba's face faded to dead white. It was too scared to scream.

Niklix looked at the badge in his hand. He was a bit puzzled. His first real match and he won. He was sure he was supposed to do something amazing to express his content, but, instead, he chose to quietly recall Stalker, pack up his violin, and exit the arena.

Niklix stepped outside and the evening sun shown down on his face. He winced. He had been in the dark too long. He sighed warmly and flung his violin case over his back. "So begins a new tune." He looked down at his pokball. "A minor... you seem to like that key, Stalker." Niklix pulled out a notebook and a pen and began walking as he wrote. "My first match... in A minor... Oh, this is going to be good."
And the sun set as Niklix continued down the road writing his first great work. Where is headed? What new adventures await in the musical world of Pokmon!

The sound echoed through his head. It seemed to grow louder the more he thought about it and his feet would go no further. He tried to speak up to break the silence, but his voice had abandoned him. From the corner of his eye, something darted through the tree tops. In a panic, Niklix reached for the nearest blunt object he could find, which happened to be his violin case. He stared into the empty tree tops for what seemed like ages. Nothing moving. Nothing there. "Nothing there," he reasured himself lowering the case. "Maybe I should wait till morning to take on the forest. Then I'll have a hole day to catch Pokmon." Niklix placed his case on the ground and sat down next to it. Reaching into his bag, he pulled out his sleeping bag and rolled it out across the ground. Then he climbed in and bundled up. The night sky was clear. The wet ground beneith him was soaking through his sleeping bag. It was not helping that the terror of the forest was only feet away. His eyes were transfixed on the sky, hoping the night would just pass.
Niklix did not recall ever going to sleep that night, but waking up, he noticed it was still night time. The sky above him was now void of stars and he felt quite moist from the ground. "Good grief! Next credit I get goes into buying a portable air matris. Or at least a water proof bag," Niklix complained as he attempted to sit up. His body jerked and he was stuck fast to the ground. Something was holding him down. He tried to move his arms, they were stuck fast. The feeling of dread that he thought he could escape has flushed back into him all at once. That is when he noticed there were no stars in the sky. He tilted his head back. A shadow sprung forth and thrusted itself into Niklix's face letting out a terrorizing scream. Niklix screamed and jumped to his feet breaking free of the root bonds that held him to the ground.
Stalker laughed with pride at his master. The darkness disappated and the morning light was reveiled (only masked by Stalker's Twilight ability)
"STALKER! What do you think you are doing?! Do you... wait, what are you doing out of your pokball?"
Niklix looked down at his violin case. The case was open, his Pokballs were flung about, and his violin was missing.
