Second non body damaging attack. Maybe he isn't purely interested in damaging the oponent. Wonder if he's puposely not using self raising stat atttacks or if his POKEMON can't learn them yet. Hmmmm. Anthony was intrigued by lack of battle tactics and mystified that neither of them were following any kind of rule. He usually sticks to one style such as lowering stats, attacking, or waiting the battle out till the foe was out of moves. He found this battle very odd.

Xoskilltn listened and used a sharp LEER.

Ledyba ran forward, but it still looked shaken from the Leer.

The Scratch hit home, spinning Ledyba around. It collapsed ton the floor.
"Return, Ledyba. Now, Alex, do you see what you are capable of if you don't give up?"

Alex has recieved the Panorama Badge!

"And with this badge, you also recieve your official Pokdex. It has info on just about everything in Bombur."

((Since Anthony and I were partners, and he's leaving the board for a while. I dont know where to go next. So i think Im just going to stop here for now. Im afraid to start a story alone. ))

Well, since I'm back, I guess it's my turn! [^_^] Let's start the narrarative.

START: Anthony watched as his friend celebrated his success. He had perched himself on a higher level. He smiled and jumped over the railing. The fall was about 10 feet so he just cringed a bit when he landed on his feet.

"Well now," he said, careful to make sure he was heard. "We begin." A slightly crazed look came over his face as he smiled.

"I want to begin in 20 seconds. Hurry and heal your POKEMON, Aaron." His voice sounded abit labored.

Aaron went off and healed. It didn't take long.

"Let us begin. Come on out Sukus." He tossed the ball.

Anthony smiled as he watched the POKEMON draw closer together. Nevermore had gotten close enough to do a peck attack and was about to when-

"Sukus. Slam it's head into the ground..."

In an instant, Sukus had leapt high into the air.

Nevermore, being a Flying type, easily dodged Sukus' mid-air attack. It wheeled around and scored a Peck on Sukus' back.

((Your post, before I edited, controlled my character. This is not allowed (otherwise everything would be too easy). Also, your Sukus is all of level 5. That means it's got minimal battling experience; certainly not enough to pull off a mid-air tackle-slam. Also, consider the fact that it's a leech. They are not noted for their ability to jump.
Please don't do it again.))

Meh. No. I was technically controlling my character but hey. I get what you mean. Fine. Sukus got hurt. He'll make it.

((No, I don't think you quite understand. Notice how all my posts are open-ended? That way you can decide whether my attacks hit or miss, or whatever effect they should have. Here's the part of your post I objected to:

Nevermore had paused to comprehend this. In an instant, Sukus had leapt high into the air, and hit the flying POKEMON with tackle from the sky, resulting with Nevermore's head hitting the dust.

Nevermore sustained high amount of damage but was still in the game. Aaron was stunned. This was not something that happend often.

You controlled the fact that Nevermore's head hit the floor, that it sustained high damage, and that Aaron was stunned. Get it now? Nonstandard attacking is fine if that's what you want to do, just bear in mind your pokemon's abilities, and in as much as it's a text-based pokémon RPG, keep it realistic.))

Nevermore drew closer again. "Sukus growl attack right... now!" Anthony called. Sukus did a growl that startled Anthony. It wasn't cute or evil or anything. It was just a growl but that made it very distracting.
I hope Nevermore breaks this attack. Anthony thought to himself. He knew Sukus was still imature and this might be abit hard to pull off.
