"Aipom! surge towards it!" Aipom turned around and charged fast towards it's opponent! The move shocked Snowyd and it seemed uncertain whether to press it's attack.

"Come on Aipom! If you can- hit it harder than it can heal itself!"

Anthony thumbed through a book for a few seconds and smirked. This was turning out fun. All of a grass type's weaknesses were being covered by this leader and it proved Anthony just had to be smarter.
"Okay then Calleo; Aipom return." Aipom dissapeared with a flash of red light.
"Let's go Sukus! Let's try a Leech Life on this overgrown piece of maize! And while I'm at it; turn this field into a flood zone with Water Gun!" Sukus- Anthony's best pokemon- unleashed a Water Gun attack and flooded the arena as it charged. Calleo blinked. There wouldn't be any advantage because Kapacorn was water too. He asked Anthony about this as the room flooded and Sukus prepared for the Leech Life attack.
"Well Sukus is naturally slow," came the reply, "So the water will speed it up some. On the other hand- while a water type- Kapacorn is light and if there is a... oh I don't know... a current? it will be swept away by the waves. Precisely why I'm gonna use Leech Life!"
Sukus charged; causing a swell of water to rise. Leech Life was actually never intended to hit. It was just being used to create the swell and incase of contact-then it was meant to do damage.

Anthony smiled. He had to work fast before the gym floor became too dry for Sukus' speed boost. Vine Whips would be a problem if they hit and since they are controlled; Sukus would need to get under something. He felt quite tested to bring himself up and out of defeat.
"Sukus! Try to avoid those vines!" Sukus swam through the water at intense speeds for it's squat body; trying to avoid the thrashing vines. It was able to keep some distance but wouldn't be able to hold this off. Then some more inspiration came over Anthony.
"Sukus! Find a place to take cover!" Sukus hid behind some rocky outcroppings. Kapacorn couldn't reach it unless it moved closer.
"Now Sukus! Use that Leech Life to absorb as much of this water as you can!" Sukus did so and it's elastic body swelled as the gym floor once again became grassy. The little leech pokemon was full to the brim with water.
"Now let's create... RAIN!!!!!!!!!" Sukus launched water towards the sky creating a synthetic rainstorm. But the viciousness of the pressure the water launched from Sukus and the gravity caused the rain to hit like needles; pelting all who didn't make it out of the way. Sukus was still under the rocks, Anthony was being hit by the downpour, and Kapacorn was having it's extended whips take a pounding.
The second affect of the downpour was that the heavy rain, though it would be quite brief, would beat down all the plants, causing a longer-lasting flood.
Anthony's strategy was working but the occasional winds got his Pokemon hit too.

((OOC: First off: thx for the compliment. Second off: of course, Kapacorn is a water type but I'm using gravity, not type advantage. If you dropped a quarter... no a penny from really high up, you could kill someone below. That's the concept I'm using but the rain isn't quite that high. That'd be KRAZY! ))
