Omanyte leapt forward, and wrapped its tentacles around Nevermore. It started to squeeze.
"Growl, Nevermore! Try to scare it off!"

Nevermores growling made Omanyte loosen its grip quite considerably. If Johnny didnt act quick, the bird pokmon would escape. He remembered how strong Crusher had constricted his face. I know you can do it, Crusher! Think imagine that Nevermore is my head!

Omanyte gave a cheerful cry and doubled its grip. Nevermore squawked and started flapping about madly.
"See if you can knock it off with a Tackle!" said Aaron.

Nevermore backed off a little, and with its attack effectively knocked Omanyte away, sending it flying through the air. Ironically, the elasticity of Omanytes tentacles had helped Nevermore to hit harder by propelling it like a rock in a slingshot.
Withdraw, Crusher! Johhny said, hoping to prevent any possible harm to the pokmon as it fell. It worked, and Omanyte didnt take much damage from the tough landing.
Are you OK, Crusher?
Omnyte!, it said with a confident voice.

Johnny was about to tell Omanyte to withdraw, but then he decided that it could resist the peck, and that it was a good time to attack.
Withstand it and Constrict, Crusher!

Nevermore darted forward to peck, and got a faceful of tentacles as Omanyte wrapped itself around Nevermore's head.
"Try to shake it off again!"
Nevermore flapped and jumpoed, but Crusher wasn't about to let go. Nevermore stopped struggling, breathing heavily, and sank to the floor.
"Ok, Nevermore. Uh, Johnny, can you release Nevermore so I can recall it please?"

Crusher began to move forward, but Ledyba growled savagely. Crusher wasn't sure what to do.

Dont let it scare you, Crusher! Constrict!, shouted Johnny, but Omanyte didnt react.
Johnny was disappointed, and he decided to give up on his attempt to attack. Crusher, Withdraw and try to calm down!

"Tackle it, Ledyba!" Ledyba leapt forward and headbutted the shell, sending it flying across the arena.

The landing was tough and a loud crack could be heard. Omanyte got out of its sell and stood up. Once it did so, Johnny and Aaron could note that there was a small fissure on the side of its shell. Crusher looked dizzy from the fall, but it didnt seem to be feeling pain.
A tiny splinter of shell had landed in front of the pokmon. When Crusher finally saw it, it realized what had happened, and became very angry. Without waiting for Johnnys orders, it went straight towards Ledyba with the intention to use Constrict.

Crusher leapt, tentacles first, and landed square on ledyba's head. IT proceeded to squeeze, harder than ever.
"Growl, Ledyba!" shouted Aaron.
Ledyba tried to, but what came out was very weak, not likely to inspire fear in any pokmon, much less a berserk Omanyte.
"Try to shake it off!" Ledyba stumbled across the arena, veering wildly from side to side, but it was no use. It collapsed, legs out, with a plaintive cry.
"Okay, Johnny. Call him off, if you can. Congratulations!"

Johnny has recieved the Panorama Badge!

Thanks Crusher! Leave Ledyba alone! It didnt want to break your shell, it was just an accident!, said Johnny as he sent the furious Omanyte back into its PokBall. I guess Ill have to teach it some manners later sorry about that. Will Ledyba be OK?
