((OOC: I suggest we continue without Aero for now, Miravistel. He has been gone for quite some time now, and he can always catch up with us later on. We could even say him goodbye at the Jirachi Fountain; this is the City of Parting Ways, after all...))

Meanwhile, Eric and Shira stood outside, near the entrance of the Bastion Gym. The Sun was shining, and if they would've stood in the central area of the Gym, they would have seen a beautiful sight, with the lush green grass and trees, being enveloped by the Sun's rays. In the corner, a small flower could be seen popping out. But they weren't inside. Instead, both trainers enjoyed the Sun's rays, which provided a warmth that was much welcome in the wintery cold outside.
"So, what are we going to do next?" Eric asked Shira. "Did you have anything else in mind to visit in this city, like the fabled enormous Department Store? Or have you been there already too?" Eric looked around and noticed a sign in the distance. "That's probably the way to go if we were to head to Route C," he said.
He suddenly turned to Shira. "Oh, before I forget, look what I bought in the Department Store!" Enthusiastically, Eric grabbed something that looked like a book from his backpack and showed it to his friend.
"It's a Catching Guide for Bombur's northwestern region. It tells us which pokémon can be found in the Decorus Woods, on Route A and B, and even in or around Anchore Town and Bastion City. It only lists the pokémon, though, it does not contain any detailed about the habitats of pokémon in the locations. Still, this will surely come in handy when I start filling my island in the future," Eric said. He flipped a few pages and then showed a particular entry to Shira. "Look, it says "Anchore Ports". I had no idea we could fish there."

Being low on cash was a phenomenon that was unknown to Eric. However, as he did not like to brag about it, he kept his mouth shut when Shira told him so. He was intent to help her out when necessary, though.
Eric looked at the Anchore Ports list as well. "Well, I wouldn't mind catching a Tentacute, but I heared that they can be found in the sea as well, so I can wait. Besides, I don't have a rod anway," Eric said. He thought for a second. "All I know about the next Gym is that it is located to the far East and that it's cold out there. I know nothing of the Gym itself. Maybe we should bring blankets," Eric joked. Keeping up with the fun they were having, he suggested with a wink "Hey, maybe you can play around with Gyarados in the Jirachi Fountain! Seriously, though, I'm all for visiting the fountain. I've walked past it earlier, but I haven't had a close look at it yet."

Eric agreed. "Yeah, Ice-type would seem most logical. But after seeing the pokémon Calleo had, I'm not so sure anymore. Still, if it's Ice, then I'm good with Comolten," Eric said, while tapping on Comolten's pokéball. "And of course, Meditite got her mysteriously fiery Hidden Power," Eric added with a wink to Shira.

It didn't take them long to approach the Jirachi Fountain. As they got near, Eric noticed a familiar figure standing near the fountain.
"Oh hey, look Shira, Aero's there. He must have finished his business around here too," Eric gestured.

Eric was excited too. "Well, I already have Comolten, so I don't think I'll be picking the Fire-type this time," Eric answered. He looked at the choices he had. Cherippo looks pretty cool with that odd little wings on top of its head, Eric thought. But that fruit sac is even more odd, it seems as if Nutreed is swimming in it. Since he already had a Fire-type and a Fighting-type with him for the possible Ice Gym, he did not have to worry about the gym fight when picking his starter. "Yeah, I'll pick Nutreed," Eric said. "I'm really curious how it lives inside that fruit, and, well, how it feels when I touch it," Eric said with a grin. "Do you think Aaron is giving us these pokémon because we helped him and Calleo out before?" he asked Shira, while sending Aaron a message.
