Personality: Damian is cold, calculating, ruthless and intimidating, almost unrivaled as a criminal mastermind. Though usually possessing an aloof, icy demeanour, Damian is more than capable of faking charisma in order to manipulate people to his own ends.

The driving force behind Damian's personality is his greed, he will do anything for money and power, though another important force is his hatred for his family with a passion for what he perceives as nothing short of betrayal, though some of this feeling also stems from the inferiority complex he has developed from living in his brother's shadow.

Skills and abilities: Damian is the most intelligent member of the Silph family, possessing an IQ in the 99.9999th percentile. He is highly logical and determined, though at the same time highly capable of adapting his schemes to suit constantly-evolving situations.

Due to his status as a Silph, Damian's life has been threatened by enemies of his family, as such, he has been trained from a young age in hand-to-hand combat and is one of the world's most dangerous and skilled martial artists. On first sight, people often mistake Damian's bulk for fat, however it is solid muscle and as such, he possesses nigh-unparalleled strength. Combined with his skills in martial arts, this makes him more than capable of outfighting a Machamp.

Damian is an accomplished Pokémon Trainer and former Champion of the Indigo Plateau Pokémon League. He specialises in the use of the highly-resilient Dragon-type.

Bio: Damian is the son of Abercrombie Silph, patriarch and founder of the Silph Dynasty. He was raised more by the staff of the family mansion than Abercrombie himself, as Abercrombie devoted a great deal of time to running his business. Because of this, Damian holds a great resentment towards his father, though he was more than happy to use his father to become Director of Silph Co.'s Genetics Division at age 20. During his time as Director, Damian experimented with Pokérus to produce dangerous bioweapons capable of being altered on a genetic level to target specific Pokémon and human racial groups. When Damian's research was uncovered, his father had him arrested, removed from his will and sent to prison before destroying his research. Damian spent the next ten years in prison before being released on parole. His first act as a free man was to blow up the Bombur Silph Co. branch, killing his brother and sister-in-law, then frame another Silph Co. worker, Francesca de Maro, for the attack.

After that, Damian started on a quest to improve his skills as a Pokémon Trainer and became the Indigo Plateau Pokémon League Champion aged 35. He reigned as Champion for six years before learning that his nephew, Dean, was setting out on a journey to Bombur. Damian decided that this was a perfect opportunity to continue his vendetta against his family and set sail for Bombur three weeks before Dean. Five days later, Damian washed up on the edge of the Cargan Desert with no Pokémon and no memory of what had happened on the boat. He used his skills as both a Trainer and a criminal to procure himself a Horsea, a Spectander and an Electageko then set out to find his nephew and find out what happened to him.

Personality: Nathaniel is the mysterious, enigmatic and charming leader of the Rogue Corps, a crime syndicate and terrorist organisation composed of former military personnel. With his natural charisma and oratory skills, he has been know to talk even the most hardened capitalist to his extreme anarchist point of view. He frequently uses his hatred of capitalism and anarchistic beliefs to justify even the most horrifying of crimes.

Beneath the charisma, however, lies years of repressed anger, a God complex and a bad case of PTSD, all stemming from the death of his mother, which is also the source of his anarchism.

His anger is the driving force behind everything Nathaniel does; his entire life has been defined by his quest for vengeance against Silph Co., which his mental instabilities have escalated into a full-blown assault on the very principles of society. Nathaniel himself has only one rule; there are no rules.

Skills and abilities: While Nathaniel may not be the most intelligent of men, he is certainly extremely charming and he wields this to great effect. He can weave the most raw of anger into a rousing battle-cry. His skill in oratory, the art of public speaking, is wondrous to behold and highly effective as well.

Having spent six years in the military, four of them as part of a Special Forces team, Nathaniel is highly skilled in multiple forms of armed and unarmed combat, demolitions, infiltration, espionage, sabotage, computer hacking, piloting, driving and negotiation. He is also an expert tactician.

Nathaniel is a skilled Pokémon Trainer who actively uses his Pokémon in his paramilitary campaigns.

Bio: Nathaniel is the child of decorated war-hero Paulo de Maro and his wife Francesca. His father was KIA when Nathaniel was three but thanks to a generous military pension, Francesca was able to raise her son without a job, even though she longed to put her degree in engineering to good use. When Nathaniel was 16, he joined the Bombur Armed Forces, leaving his mother free to get a job at the Bombur Silph Co. branch as an engineer. Nathaniel's skills with a gun and impressive knowledge of tactics got him noticed by his higher-ups, who had him transferred to a Special Forces team when he was 18, where he served with distinction on a number of covert operations, preventing numerous criminal and terrorist plots. One plot that Nathaniel didn't stop, however, was the one that blew the Bombur Silph Co. branch skyhigh. Despite all the evidence pointing to his mother trying to cover up funds she'd been embezzling, Nathaniel refused to believe she was capable of such an act and began to believe to theories that Abercrombie Silph himself had orchestrated the bombing to ensure that his son Mortimer didn't inherit the company.

Nathaniel placed the blame and all his hatred on Abercrombie Silph at first but then months of doing nothing but searching the Internet, coupled with severe PTSD led him to place the blame on the evils of capitalism and the corruption and bureaucracy of the government. He quit the Special Forces and sowed the first seeds of what would become his anarchist paramilitary movement the Rogue Corps. To finance his plans, he started selling arms to terrorist groups, knowing full well that any of them could have been the ones who killed his mother and not caring in the slightest; as far as he was concerned if society wasn't able to protect his mother then it didn't deserve to exist.

Underneath all his anarchistic views, however, he still held a special place of hatred for the Silph family. When intelligence reports informed him that Dean and Damian Silph were both coming to Bombur, Nathaniel began planning to use them in his own twisted scheme to bring the Silph Dynasty to its knees. He had a bomb planted on the boat in which Damian was travelling, powerful enough to destroy the boat but not to kill Damian. Once Damian's survival was confirmed, Nathaniel started the machinations of phase two.
