Like Miravistel, I live in the USA and have ancestors from so many places I can only accurately describe myself as "Mongreloid". I have ancestry from Ireland, Northern Ireland, Scotland, China, the French sections of Canada...uh...there are more, but I can't recall them offhand. My sister can.

People treat Judaism like it's something you inherit. If only one parent is Jewish, you're "half Jewish". Personally, I don't buy that at all. Religion is about your own personal beliefs; it's worthless if it isn't.
Maybe the Jews treat their religion as an inheritance because they're supposedly the race to which God has promised amazing riches and dominance in the future. I actually read a book recently, though, that shed new light on key passages in the early books of the Bible's Old Testament and offered the conclusion that the promises of wealth and power, that Abraham's descendants would form "a great nation and a company of nations", have already come true in the United States and the British Empire! There was documented evidence both in the Bible and in actual recorded history of people, including a young princess, fleeing the Middle East region on ships and winding up at what would become the British Isles.
