Well, my current account (like most of the staff) Is the name of my staff avatar, for obvious reasons.

But my previous account, mew trainer rose, has a more interesting origin. It started when I made my first email account, which was unicorn_lover@something. I chose the name because at the time I was very entusiastic about my small collection of unicorn things, such as figurines, snowglobes, pictures, and the like. For a while after I used unicorn_lover_rose as a username on forums as such (unicorn_lover was already taken at the first place I signed up on, so I added my first name to it). When I signed up for a pokemon forum, I wanted a username that was more pokemon-based, so I switched to mew_trainer_rose, since Mew is my favorite pokemon. Then I used that name again here.

You want to know where Miravistel came from? Well, that's sort of an interesting story too, come to think of it.

Miravistel is adept at creating illusions. Therefore the "mira-" is from "mirage," since a mirage is a sort of illusion. "Avistel" as actually the name of a species of fantastic creature I made up. It in turn comes from "aves," which I believe is the latin/scientific word for the bird class, and "mustelidae," the latin/scientific word for the weasel family. So "avistel" more or less means 'bird-weasel,' which is fitting because they're winged weasel-like creatures. As magic creatures, they have minor illusionary powers, which is why I made Miravistel an illusionist (though of course the pokemon is much better at creating illusions than the magical creature). I could ramble on about avistels (I made four subspecies and worked out more info on all of them, and even created stats for them to be used in a D&D game), but I think that's enough to understand where the pokemon came from.
