weird laws
whaleing ( the hunting of whales) is illigal in oregon
In Staten Island, It is illegal for a father to call his son a "faggot" or "%!!#+" in an effort to curb "girlie behavior."
In Baltimore, It is illegal to take a lion to the movies
In West Virginia if any person arrived at the age of discretion profanely curse or swear or get drunk in public, he shall be fined by a justice one dollar for each offense
In Tennesse it is unlawful for any person to import, possess, or cause to be imported into this state any type of live skunk, or to sell, barter, exchange or otherwise transfer any live skunk, except that the prohibitions of this section shall not apply to bona fide zoological parks and research institutions
In Pennsylvania a minister is not supposed to perform a marriage ceremony if either the bride or the groom is drunk.
In Iowa, it is illegal to hunt from an aircraft
and my favorite
In Fairbanks, Alaska to give a moose a beer

I don't see anything wierd about the above. A law against calling someone hurtful names for being feminine. A law against public drinking. A law against drunken marriage. A law against aerial hunting. I cut out the anti-cursing bit of the second law because I'm a firm opposer of obscenity and censorship laws.
