Well it turns out that that Ladyba looking pokmon was actually a firefly Pokmon, Pory. I have saved the images to our directory in PFMisc. They are under lightning bug and ghost...take a look.

I definitely like mine better. Not like it's the first time two different pokmon had the same real-world analog.
Something interesting, though...if that skull-thing is a ghost...might it be Ghost/Dark-type? That would be a major event...Dark Ghosts have no vulnerability in the seventeen-type setup.

Well if it is a Ghost/Dark, then I would have to say either we can expect more types to be unvieled or that the Pokmon is a, or better yet, the rare Pokmon in the game, like Celebi and Mew are to the others.

Hm. What happens if Nintendo actually does release a Magic-type? That could screw up a lot of things around here.

Well, if Nintendo does make a new type I doubt it will be magic, that would really set of the droves of people who think pokmon is evil. A lot of people however, believe if there is a new type it will likely be "light" or something to that effect. I only have one problem with a new type and that is the possible eevee evolutions...

True. Nintendo has real potential to drive this thing into the ground. A light/holy type would be interesting, though.

There's a Bug/Fire pokmon named Pyrefly in our collection. You'll see it whenever we finally get the site up.

In fact, I've made up my own Eeveelutions!

Angelleon, Aquareon, Blizzeon, Celesteon and Draconeon are the first five in alphabetical order.

The problem with Eeveelutions is that there are far too many of them! There are some ideas that we don't want here because they show very little creativity on the part of the suggestor. Anyone can come up with an Eeveelution, we've all seen them already and we don't need to see any more.

I wonder if one of the new types will be lizard, or reptile, or something like that, because that chameleon Pokmon would have to be either Psychic or Normal. I say Psychic because of Slowpoke and Giraffig - a hippo and a giraffe.

What would be WONKY is if the new type had the same element strengths and weaknesses as our current magic type.

If that is the case, I would have but one thing to say to that. Fnugger Schnooggets.

I doubt it. The relations of Magic are a little odd in that they don't relate to anything both offensively and defensively. In other words, if, for a given type A, you make four lists of types that
1) Type A's attacks are strong against,
2) Type A's attacks are weak against,
3) Type A is strong against the attacks of, and
4) Type A is weak against the attacks of,
Magic is the only type where none of its four lists have anything in common. I wouldn't expect that in a Nintendo-official type.
