Hmm...I wish I could transfer topics between MBSs now, because we had a topic like this going back where the survivors of the old PF hang out. Let's see...here's the list of moves I've created for my various ideas:

Shout
Type: Normal
Effect: Attack, strength 40
This one's the starting attack of Audior, my sound-based attacker. Nothing special except that it's pokmon-specific.

Scream
Type: Normal
Effect: One-Hit K.O.
Audior's final move, typically after it's evolved into Megaphon (which I don't think was ever made by PF.)

Laser
Type: Normal
Effect: Attack, strength 45, chance to burn 15%
That's right, a Normal-type attack with a chance to burn. This one's the starting attack of Turretor, my laser gun pokmon that would go on to learn all the different beam attacks and almost nothing else.

Cold Glance
Type: Normal
Effect: Enemy Attack and Defense both lowered one level
Sparctic, my Electric/Ice-type, starts with this move.

Transfer
Type: Poison
Effect: One-Hit K.O.
This one was just nasty. Learned by a Poison/Psychic evolution of Muk, it involved teleporting poison directly into the target's bloodstream. Yum!

Hiss
Type: Normal
Effect: Enemy Attack lowered two levels ("sharply fell")
This move was learned by a Ground-type weasel pokmon that I ended up giving up on.

Buzzsaw
Type: Normal
Effect: Attack, strength 150
That's right, as strong as Hyper Beam. I made this move for Sandslash in my fanfic; Sandslash curls into a ball and rolls into the pokmon with its spines extended, something like a meat grinder. And yes, the character who used this move was a villian.

Poison Slam
Type: Poison
Effect: Attack, strength 120, Poisons
Same villian character. This one's a move for Nidoran and its evolved forms. The user jumps and turns a half somersault in the air to come down, back spines first, on top of the enemy; the spines sink in and inject.

Hyperactive
Type: Normal
Effect: User's Speed and Evasion up two levels
This one's peculiar. It's learned only by Poryhedron's pet Poryracer, who is actually a Porygon with racing wheels instead of leg pods (no, it's not a new species. It's just a Porygon who happens to have the wheels.) Hyperactive indeed, Poryracer tends to use this at least once at the start of every battle...or of anything else it does.

Run Over
Type: Normal
Effect: Attack, strength 80
Another Poryracer-specific move, if you couldn't guess. Poryracer has actually learned this instead of Tri Attack.

Hmm...making the move into VolcanicBomb (or Lava Bomb so there's room for a space) might actually be a good idea, because there's another move called Fire Bomb that was introduced to the community a while ago; it's a Fire-type One-Hit K.O. and thus the only one so far to which no pokmon is immune.

Yeah, Fatigue's new to me. Basically a stronger version of Spite? If you're planning on making a pokmon that starts with it, I'd suggest replacing it with Spite at that low level and making Fatigue a later move...other than that it's fine.

Hmm...on that topic, a new Steel move was made recently for the Cragsquire family called Spiked Armor. Like your move, it increases defense, but it doesn't boost Steel attacks. Instead, it gives all of the enemy's physical attacks the recoil effect that moves like Take Down or Submission have, thanks to the spikes on the armor.
By the way, even if the space is omitted, BrassKnuckles is too long. BrassKnuckle fits, though...and it sounds like a good name to me. Nintendo's used worse.
There are actually a rather large number of new Steel moves out there, like the Rock Throw clone Tumble or the Evasion-lowering Harpoon (learned by a Water/Steel-type, of course.) When the site opens, we'll have a page that lists all of the new moves created.
