Dude, Botispine didn't tell you TO do that...Botispine simply pointed out the general process you'd have to go through to make real Pokmon and then told you that "it's fairly impossible" to make real Pokmon. Duh!

Anyways, as a biology fanatic, I can tell you this...if you COULD make them real, imagine the psychic trauma, etc. each of them would have gone under...they'd be nothing more than experiments to have YOUR dream come true. In other words, we might have some Mewtwo cases. Spare yourself, the poor creatures, and frankly the rest of the world the suffering...and just enjoy Pokmon for what they are...wonderful creatures in a fun fictional world. Don't take that too seriously, just enjoy Pokmon and don't worry about making them real...it'll take the fun out of it.

Bonzai, don't say "Good luck." Even if you mean it sarcastically or whatnot, missingno will take that as encouragement, although they shouldn't if they shouldn't. I can say this from experience in many other things...just be happy with what Pokmon stuff there is. Enjoy it and stop wishing for something so bad, whether you get it or not. For example...I could never enjoy snorkeling for wanting to SCUBA dive. Yeah, I still enjoyed it, and continued to get fascinated every time I went, but although I got lost in my enjoyment, etc....I still wanted to SCUBA, and that detracted from some of my happiness. Now I am a licensed SCUBA diver...and still enjoy snorkeling almost as much as SCUBA diving Only now I wish I hadn't spent that time wishing for something I didn't have yet...because I finally got what I wanted, and it was worth the wait.

And Pory has presented an excellent point...just because something is of a similar genre DOESN'T ALWAYS mean it's a rip-off of something else. Take all the magical girl series for example (one of my specialties as far as genre go). They're not rip-offs of one another. And Yu-Gi-Oh! is NOT a rip-off of Pokmon. Read the first few chapters of the manga and you'll learn that quick. It's actually a decent series. I prefer the manga over the anime, but it's okay. Not my favorite...but worth watching if its on and I don't have anything else better to watch.

Basically, I'm not one to tell someone to give up to a dream, but you say this is a quest, and regardless of what it really is, I shall say this...using the words of Yomi from Azumanga Daioh, since I am her incarnate...."Stop chasing those kinds of dreams, dumbass." See? I didn't tell you to give it up. I just told you not to chase this dream since it's quite frankly silly. Just be a trainer in the games, your own fanfiction-type ideas (I probably shouldn't have said that...), and whatever else. Don't give up on being a trainer...just give up on making them real in the sense you mean. If you create them, they'll be traumatized for life...and it'll cause you more stress than joy. And Pokmon will live forever so long as there are fans. It might not always be as popular, but it'll be around.
