I'm sure all of us three-stage bird line lovers are very happy with the Mukkukuru line. Their sprites are all awesome as well.
In my opinion, though, the Pidgey line could have done with a little more consistency between the stages. I mean, Pidgey and Pidgeot are great, but Pidgeotto's pose - although really cool - is so... unlike the other two.
Which is why, since Pidgey is one of my favorite pokmon out there, I tried my hand at a redo of Pidgeotto's Emerald sprite:
