I must say, some I have. I really, really don't want to insult any artists here, and 9 out of 10 times the sprites are amazing, but I think Bonzais sprite looks slightly...unusual. It dosen't look right, its thin body seems jagged. It just looks really weird. Sorry if I offended anyone, I just thought so.
Don't burn my home Bonzai. I have only just got it redecorated after that giant Charizard attack...newt eyes, frog spawn, it all looks the same. How was I supposed to know?

Well, in that case, it's probably a good thing we'll switch to D/P staff avatars eventually. Personally, I think my own ShinE sprite needs some improvement as well, so that'll work out nicely.

"Dumb" is relative. What some people may like, others may hate, whether it's the art style or just the way the pokmon is shaped. I've often seen times where an artist is personally displeased with work that (s)he has turned out, but the fans still love it.

One thing that sometimes happens around here is that a suggestor's description isn't really as thorough as it could be, and our artists end up making something that doesn't quite look like what the suggestor had in mind. Knowthing is an infamous example of this; Schimre got quite sick of hearing about it. Sadly, we usually can't devote time and energy to going back and "fixing" such pokmon because we have so many other things to finish.

Poryhedron just said what i can't face about my actual artwork... about artwork I mean. 70% of the time I hate my work and feel I did the very least I'm capable of and hate myself for it. And -(funny thing is)- everyone in Hawaii I show my artwork to (even the island renound Phil Sabado ((who was my art teacher but I couldn't get along with)) said it was great... or in Mr. Sabado's case, it was "getting there. But I'm rarely happy with the composistion (meaning that I dislike the placings of objects), the backgrounds, the colourings and the shadings. The only thing I'm ever happy about would be people and animals that I'm capable of drawing... *sighs* Wish I could show you but my scanner isn't working for some odd reason. :eek

I didn't mean to offend anyone when I made this I just wanted to know if someone saw a pokemon that they thought was just out of place.

I searched this whole forum for this topic for like weeks and I just found it today! :eek
