And good question! You're right about males having longer horns and such. However, in this case, the leaves are hair-like. In Youthistle's case the females are the ones with longer leaves, or longer hair so to speak. Also, male Obstangle have a slightly longer leaves near their chin (beard-like), female ones have longer hair.

- ninjamatt: while it may seem as spikes, let's keep in mind that it's leafy hair. That works a bit different from human hair. It's the choice we've made; this turned out best in the sprites.

- Anthony: for now, there won't be an archive for these. They are currently a board-only project. If we end up with a whole lot of them, we might reconsider.

- Dark Caddisfly: I'm glad you like them ^^ We'll do our best to do quite some pokmon, but it won't be fast.

- ninjamatt: I'm glad you feel the sprites are up to par with Nintendo's DP style ^-^ Let's not forget the awesome sketches (by Antarctros) which allow the sprites to turn out this well.

- Dustminion: I'm glad you like the type orbs. I'd like to keep them a surprise, though, so I'd rather not post them. But don't worry, I'll try to keep the types of pokmon diverse so that many types appear as soon as possible.

- Blinx: the hair are leaves. Leaves do tend to have straight edges. Having them flow more would ruin the leafy effect. I do get what you mean, though, as I noticed that too. Upon changing it though, the sprite did not improve in looks, which is why I kept it this way.
