Just stating the obvious, according to Serebii, Perap's English name has been reveiled. It's Chatot, Chat + Parrot.

Well, what to say, it's not exactly great, not really bad either. I'm glad we can keep our own Parrapeet

I don't like it either but maybe it'll grow on us.........maybe.

Thank GOD for nicknames!!!!! If you don't like the name, nickname it. I have a feeling that some pokemon may be getting nicknamed but hopefully I won't be to excited or lazy to do it.

More names revealed: Dialga, Palkia and Mantyke.

The first two are just translations, so not much to say there. Mantyke does fit Mantine, so it's pretty nice I'd say. I'm reminded of our Lickityke :P

I don't exactly get that... I mean how'd you get the Tyke Man thing... I thought Mantyke worked pretty well. Manta + Tyke.

They really could have done better. Reminds me of the whole Batman / Manbat thing. Hopefully it'll get changed before release...

What Serebii says was that it could change that doesn't mean it will, and explain to me why NOA can't stay close to the original name? Buizel is a fine name.

I like Buizel. It's the same thing as Buoysel. It's an apt name for a ...weasel with buoys.

Nintendo really can do better than this. It's like they hired some kid to do the naming for them. Personally, I think that some of the japanese names are better than the english ones. What were they thinking? Anyone of us could come up with better names.
