I was playing around with some pokemon questions that i posted on pokemon Project Platinum and after a quick use of the computer calculator I found that all togeather there are 197 possible type combinations for the 20 types found here (no I'm not going to list all of them, but there are some combos that haven't been done even here {like Ghost/normal})

I've done some extensive work, and I've found that their are 135 unique type combination pokemon, when you add the pokemon factory and official pokemon together. That means using the 197 found by Gamermaster222 there are only 62 unique combination. I haven't taken the effort of figuring out which combinations are left, sorry. Now I'm was a little tired when I figured out these numbers so they may be wrong.

If you're talking about Missingno., the correct answer is no. For one thing, counting Missingno. means we add another whole type. Missingno. is Bird-type. Not Flying-type, Bird-type.

Missingno. is not a real pokmon. It has never been a real pokmon. That's why we never, ever accept pokmon ideas based on it.

Well, Poryhedron, i dont mean to be rude or anything, but don't you think that Nintendo made the Glitch Pokemon Missingno., because i have 3 pieces of evidence:
1. A game doesn't just create a Pokemon, even if it's a glitch
2. Nintendo didn't say that there is a Missingno. because i believe that there is a glitch pokemon in EVERY game, just to make it more interesting.
3. It would be fun to try to find the Glitch Pokemon in every game!

So, no offence, but I think that Missingno. is a real Pokemon!

I personally think that is bad logic. Most people don't do that, would they want one that freezes games? Well, In SMB you could get into an infinite loop of coins. Nintendo, didn't program it, didn't know it till the game came out. Would nintendo make an Invisible SHiny Bulbasaur in Diamond and Pearl that Is level 0 and you can't attack on purpose? Probably not. None of us that I know think so. It is just a really cool glitch.

That probably served the exact same purpose that Red/Blue's Missingno. did: it was originally a blank template of a pokmon that the programmers could use to test pieces of the code. When they were all done writing the code they didn't need it any more, but instead of stripping all reference of it from the code they just made it so that nobody could access it without somehow altering the coding.

Of course, nobody's perfect, and loopholes were found in the coding allowing people to access portions of code that were never meant to be accessed...at least not in that manner. Then, too, there's Game Shark, but altering the coding is exactly what Game Shark does.
