I'm making a Dex on the computer, (it has nothing to do with PF, but when the Pokemon thread opens again, I'll submit some of them) and to complete it, I'll need someone like Gelatop to sprite them. Ignore the colored backgrounds. Would you please sprite these to start?

Salava reminds me of Charmander, and Bucketub doesn't rock in my mind, but here I go! I did pangoleaf, and will show you soon!

In reality, Salava is nothing like Charmander- it has 6 legs like a mythical salamander. Plus, its skin is rough and it has no fire on the end of its tail. It just LIVES in lava.

Bucketub may not look good now, but just wait until it evolves twice and you'll see something truly magnificent!

I vould be wrong but I didn't think you could sprite Gelatop.

Yeah, I am just better at drawing big-sized. I am not good with shading, but I shrunk your drawing down, relined it, and shaded it. The outline is still black though. Sorry.

Tell me if I am wrong, but Bucketub's evolution looks like Bucketub without glasses, has a big smile, and thick eyebrows! Can you redraw it, and more powerful-looking than Bucketub? it can still be happy!

If you look closely, Bucketub's ""bucket head" is turned vertically. Drenchort's "bucket head" is turned sideways. Plus, it's bigger than Bucketub. But yeah, I'll make it look different.

There you go. I made Drenchort look vaguely replilian (to hint to his final evolution!) It also might give him more power.

Hmmm...nothing wrong with your Water starters or your Fire starters but its a bit of a leap from a pangolin to capybara, you have gone from a scaled, tree-climbing, anteater-like carnivore to a furry, swimming, herbivorous rodent...

Pangoleaf cannot climb trees and it does not eat meat. Plus, Capaberry cannot swim. The only resemblance Pangoleaf has to a pangolin is the scales, which are actually leaves on the Pokemon.

Hey, have you seen my Gelatop drawing?! Because I am a great artist, but art cannot be rushed! I have a busy life and can't do everything at once! Why do you watn Mr. Smeargle to do it now? I will soon begin Salava and Bucketub!

Nice drawings, but I asked for sprites. Kind of like the avatar you had when you were catarre. You know, the bug thing?

However, there were some problems. Salamag stands on all 6 legs and is long and skinny like a snake. Drenchort does not have a hole in the front of its head and it doesn't have sharp teeth. It's called "Drenchort" because of "drench" and "chortle," in other words laugh. Still, they were good!

Hmmm...you may be confused, my Catarre sprite (yes the bug himself was Catarre) was actually a normal paint drawing with some shading, but when it became my avatar, ezboard shrunk it to 80x80. The idea with Salamag was that crawling along the ground on all-fours, errr...all-sixes, isn't much of a pose (no offence) and I was under the impression that Drenchort was a bucket-dragon thing, so I made its head into a bucket, but if you want here are a couple of new pics:

I love the Paint drawings. Do that from now on, OK? I have the next batch for you- the final starter evolutions!

#496- Arbordillo, the final evolution of Pangoleaf.

#499, Kindrake, the final evolution of Salava.

#502, Alligush, the final evolution of Bucketub.

That's it for now. When those are done, I'll start posting 5 Pokemon per batch, all the way until the final one, Draghoul.

Apart from the first one, they all look like they have de-evolved. I mean, a lizard turning into a snake? And a dinosaur turning into a bucket with no arms? It seems extremely strange...maybe you should rethink these a little..

Also, Kindrake seems very similar to a PF pokemon on the most recent page...

It doesn't seem that strange to me- Kindrake has NO relation to Magmadder and is probably 4 feet longer. Besides, I'm probably not going to submit any of the Salava family into PF. When PF requests starters for DP, maybe I'll request the Pangoleaf or possibly the Bucketub family, but NOT Salava. Ever notice that how Bucketub stands straight up like a person, Drenchort is a little hunched over, Alligush stands on all fours? That was my intention.
