Hitmonchan: level up while holding Snivelbop*
Hitmonlee: level up while holding Whivelbop*
Hitmontop: level up while holding Rotater*
Hitmonblade: When Attack is higher than Defence & Speed
Hitmondef: When Defence is higher than Attack & Speed
Hitmonpants: When Special Attack & Special Defence are higher than Speed, Attack, & Defence
Hitmonawesome: When all stats are equal
Hitmontornado: When Speed is higher than Attack & Defence
Hitmonkwan: When Tyrogue is used five battles in a row.(Tyrogue only learns Tackle, Fake Out & Quick Attack.)

Snivelbop: a glove made of steel that increases the power of these moves:
Thunder Punch
Fire Punch
Ice Punch
Mach Punch
