Alpaquick: I'm glad you remembered TinE and that you like its new appearance ^-^ Heh, I laughed my head off when you used the word "MommE" XD Maybe MommE will be the next addition XD As for who TinE's mommE is, I'll keep my lips sealed. Of course, in-game ShinE, being genderless, would only be able to breed with Ditto, so let's stick to that explanation ;)

Squirrelay: ShinE would be in the Draconic Egg Group (but remain genderless). TinE would be in the No Eggs group, since it's a baby pokémon.

soble: TinE will not be dexed. However, sometime soon, the Staff's SuperDex entries will be updated. And when ShinE's entry gets updated, TinE will be included as well, providing it with dex data and moves that way.
Unlike the Unown, all TinE (being baby pokémon) are protected by ShinE himself. So no, you won't be able to either see nor capture TinE. But maybe there is a way after you've beaten the PFL???

hazzamon: check out shiny TinE; it has the darker yellow of ShinE. TinE and ShinE switch their yellow color palets when they turn shiny. I did so on purpose, because of ShinE's shiny nature ;) As for ShinE's horn, you are free to point such things out ^^ The dithering is indeed somewhat unnecessary. However, ShinE's first appearance (back when my spriting skills were still sucky) had the dithering as well, and I decided to keep that out of nostalgic reasons ;)

Also, some more background info:
I had developed TinE back when I developed my current ShinE avatar (it existed even before ShinE). ShinE is an uppercase E, and TinE is a lowercase e. Originally TinE evolved into ShinE, but I changed that when I became Staff, since I wanted to involve Unown E, to give ShinE a more legendary background. I kept TinE around, updating it periodically, but never really used it. But a couple of weeks ago, Antarctros sent me the sketch of TinE that you see below, which was way too awesome not to use. Thus, TinE was sprited once more, and has now appeared in the National Dex.

If a TinE were selected, its Phione-like status would indeed be ruined. However, we're speaking purely hypothetically here. It's never going to happen, so no need for worries like these. I was just pointing out that who- or whatever force that made Unown E evolve, could opt for another solution if necessary

As for ShinE closing its mouth: yes, I can :P Which is also the reason I can learn Bite ;P No one has ever seen this, though, and thus its sprites always show its mouth open. Though, of course, this is also done because I need to look like an E, which I cannot do as efficiently with a closed mouth XD
