However, secretly, while no one was looking, the Upsidaze line has appeared in the "Pokémon with changed Types" section. Lacking wings, they are Ground/Wind-types now.
And speaking of Wind, that is the type they share... with the Hoppip line!

Congrats to Gelatop for guessing their spot correctly! Congrats to patricol for guessing the new addition and the explanation for the hint!

Based on Antarctros' sketch, their sprites have now appeared in the National Dex. I hope you all like them!

@Gelatop: Trapinch guessed the Shiny National Dex Update correctly. That update was so well hidden, that guessing it correctly was worth picking a PF line to be remade into the National Dex.

Random Upsidaze Info:
Scientists are confused about Upsidaze's eyes. They don't have an explanation for the fact that it has one normal left eye, and a right eye that consists of just a pupil, but is lacking an eyeball.
Recently, though, pokémon observers have discovered that the right eye is in fact only a black spot on Upsidaze's skin, but shaped like an eye. Since it apparently has only one eye, the observers believe that the spot might be there for reasons of esthetics and symmetry.

That information was creepy and informative at the same time. I always guessed that the right "eye" was real. Was that information actually part of the original suggestion?

No, it was not ^^ Back when it was suggested, no information abouts its eyes was provided. When the original sketch appeared, by its suggestor Schimre, the mysterious right eye was suddenly there. The right eye being a spot seemed a logical explanation for the presence of two different eyes, and it makes it unique in this aspect ^-^
For anyone that does not like this info: feel free to discard the observers' discovery as just a theory.

Combee is the only pokémon in the National Dex that shows its gender difference. This is done because its gender difference actually matters to its evolution: only female Combee evolve into Vespiquen. This gender difference is therefore so important, that it is shown.

Random Upsidaze Info:

Upsidaze use the hooks on their head to attach to almost everything to prevent themselves from floating upwards. When an Upsidaze attaches its hook to the hook of another Upsidaze, they are drawn towards each other, which also keeps them from falling into the sky. Upsidaze are often seen doing a mysterious dance when they are attached like this. They are also able to fling each other away in situations of danger this way. Incredibly enough, Upsidaze always manage to grab hold of something with their hooks once they have fled far enough. A collision with an Upsidaze that was flung surely hurts, though; at least, that is what pokémon observers have reported...

Elephlates and Upsidazes seem like pokémon that can´t last long in a trainer´s posession, don´t you think?
Then again Hoppip and Drifloon are the same case, oh well.

It depends. Tie something to them and maybe it'll be easier.
