Jumpluff's tail is missing and I don't like the shades of blue they used; it looks like it has a giant spot of light blue on it, instead of natural light and shadow. Pidgeotto's pose is cool, but doesn't look that cool when placed in between Pidgey and Pidgeot.
It's a matter of personal taste, but I don't feel like putting up sprites on the National Dex that I don't like.

Lacking the hypnosis-inducing antlers of their evolved form, Fawntler do have the ability to confuse their opponents by increasing the number, size or shape of the many spots that line their body. Making the foe dizzy provides them with sufficient space to escape their predator. Fawntler generally trust pokémon observers who approach them, but they do love to play and make the observers dizzy too.

It's like the baby stantler did in anime. Maybe instead of it evolving at level 40, it can evolve after learning Hypnosis.

I just looked at fawntler's moveset. If my plan of action is going to be aprooved, the moveset has to be changed around a bit. It can't work

Yeah. it should learn it at level 33, like all the Pokemon that evolve with a move known. If it can't hypnotize anything, it shouldn't be able to know the move without evolving. However that would make it the second Pokemon to learn a move at a later level than its evolved form... that might explain the low level it learns it at.

Fawntler follows Ponyta's example by evolving at level 40. I really don't see why that should be changed.

Without the prized antlers of its evolves form, Fawntler are less endangered by hunters than Stantler. They therefore are less shy when humans are around and are often found eating the scraps of food that are left by picnicking people. If it is approached by those with an ill will, however, it will not hestitate to use the headbutting and stomping which it has learned by sparring with others of its kind. More than once, pokémon observers have noticed a poacher flying past after getting hit by a Fawntler.

Still, there is no reason to change a long-ago established evolution method just because it suddenly wouldn't be creative enough. Nintendo does not go back and change Ponyta's level-up evolution just because they invented new methods of evolution, so neither should we. Besides, I think the evolving when a move is learned method should be reserved for pokémon that fit it better than Fawntler does.

True, and I'm truly sorry about that. With the DP switch eating up time, I've chosen a more lazy way and put up sprites that were already done. However, fear not! For I hadn't forgotten! In fact, the line has been sketched already ;)

I love how Slitherbie looks! Awwww... Fawntler and Virrgoose look nice also. Why do those three remind me of two certain Disney movies that take place in the forest?

JDLJDL is right. Also, Yanmega is related to Ancientpower because it is based on 'Meganeura', a species of gigantic prehistoric dragonfly.
And Tangrowth is related to Ancientpower because it is apparently based on a shaggy cavemen. And cavemen are quite prehistoric.
