Whenever Leviathor are not busy hunting for food or repairing stuff by abusing Remoraid, there is time for sports. Leviathor are particularly fond of using their hammer-like tails to send Voltorb rolling. Since Leviathor are solitary pokémon they always play alone. Instead of playing hockey, therefore, the Leviathor are having fun by trying to aim their hits well enough to send the Voltorb rolling through hoops made of scratch metal. Some pokémon observers believe that this game the Leviathor are playing is the earlist form of croquet and was in fact the inspiration for that sport.
For some Leviathor this game is not exciting enough, however. For them the fun really starts when playing with disconnected Deptharge instead of Voltorb...

@Squirrelay/soble92: Well, in my opinion, because of Voltorb's mysterious link to pokéballs, Voltorb could in principle be found at any location where pokémon have been visited and captured by humans. It is true that they won't be found in abundance there, though. They are probably a rare sight deep down there.
