Well let's think of some names! Who knows? Maybe the Staff will like some of them.

Wind: Air Plate
Light: Bright Plate
Magic: Cast Plate

The names of the plates were already chosen even before Arceus was recolored and added to the NatDex. Congrats KookyKoopa, you guessed the name of the wind plate (Gale Plate), and to you, Trapinch, since you guessed the name of the light one. For the Magic one, I'd like to ask you all to be patient and wait for the D/P switch to find out: the new plates will be added to the new items list.

Now that you edited several official Pokemon, could you edit Slaking? Its DP sprite is horrible.

I counted the space in the National Dex, and there is currently space for 570 Pokemon. 493 are Nintendo's, which means 77 are PF. Considering Ardyh, Quarrex, ShinE, Antarctros, Snakir, Aspler, Banunch, Sprowtana, Plentana, Bananza, Grandizzly, Bactrun, Piedreate, Concreate, Boltweiler, Guerillom, Protogon, Grackle, Corollar, Douno, Spectander, Drakhoul, Fiendrake, that leaves 54 other PF Pokemon to be revealed!

That's with the current amount of spaces, they'll obviously add more and more until every PF and Nintendo Pokémon is in it and will end up constantly updating it.

atually there is a sprite for ??? aceaus. due to cheats that change pokemon in the games the manufacurors put in a sprite for ??? arceus to prevent the game from crashing from trying to upload data that does not exist. perhaps you should add that sprite in.

We already know that, but as ShinE said, until there is no official plate that can actually change Arceus into the ???-type form, we won't add it to the site.

@Darjulok: Contrary to what it looks like, the sprites of Cranidos and Rampardos are still official ones; they're the second frame of the DP animated sprites. So, no, I can't change Slaking, since its second frame looks about the same. The Nintendo sprites I did change feature changes in coloring and shading, not general shapes, or they feauture an updated sprite from a previous generation, which in Slaking's case is impossible considering its size.

Oh, and btw, MisterSmeargle is right about the spaces in the Dex. They're just there for organizing purposes and are flexible and addable.

Also, and this needs a clear, second post, we're in the process of testing some coding which will result in one random pokémon end up being shiny on the page each time you visit the National Dex. This random shiny pokémon will then be the link to the shinies page.
My question to you guys: which method do you prefer? 1: ShinE being clickable and the standard link to the shinies page; or 2: a random, different pokémon each time you visit the page that will be clickable.
Let me hear what you think.

I think the shiny pokemon should be the link, that way it's a treasure hunt sort of.

I tame the burninators.

Here's how the Slakoth line really goes through evolution:

Slakoth drinks a Red Bull, causing it to get hyper and evolve into Vigoroth.
The caffeine rush ends, causing Vigoroth to evolve into Slaking.

I think it would be more usefull if the link was on shinE. I can't seem to find the random shiny pokemon. also I noticed an arrow thingy after farfetch'd and before houndour. if someone were to explain to me whether it means something or if it was just an error it would be well apreciated.

The arrow is a slight error now that we're in the testing phase. It will be removed in the final result.

1.I'm assuming chesset is going to be like arcaeus and castform. constantly changing. can you confirm this?
2. how do you decide who gets on the national dex before others?

I like it as a random shiny/non shiny. It's a scavenger hunt, but with 1 item.
