...you can't display a picture on the internet just by copying and pasting...or do you mean you're copying and pasting the URL for the uploaded file?
Before you can display a picture on the internet, you have to upload the image file to a server somewhere. Photobucket is a good example of a place that'll host your image files for free.

While I'm here; a question for poryhedron. Some of my first topics have disappeared from the suggest a pokemon board. Like really, just disappeared. Is there a reason for that?

When did these topics disappear? Did it happen when we switched to Yuku, or was it before that?

Also, big bummer, my ripway account has died (I'm using imageshack instead now) but all my old sprites have vanished as well. I'm not known to make a description and usually just use sprites. Will this be a problem and should I resprite everything (can't ensure it'll be the same though) or will that not matter? Get back to me when you can.

Well, first of all, you should be aware that we practically never simply insert a suggestor's sprite into a dex template unless the suggestor is PF Staff. This is due to legal reasons involving ownership of the sprite. What we would normally do is use your sprite as a reference to create our own. So, basically, submitting a sprite is the most detailed way possible to provide us a description from which to make our own sprite.
Your pokémon cannot be dexed without a description, so for suggestions of yours that have not yet been archived, you certainly must replace the lost sprites with either new sprites or text descriptions. As for which you choose, we're fine with either. Since you have the skill to sprite your own ideas, you will probably want to go that route since it practically guarantees that our artwork will match your imagination.
