oh, thats because of the storyline (and yes, that's a snag machine) ^^. The game would be a GBA sequel to the gamecube series. As for why the girl has no snag machine (and I'm glad everyone could tell what that was), it's because, while you play as one character, the other character is with you most of the time (except a few of the storylines twists). The male character is the one who uses the snag machine. If you play as the female character, you get to use the snagged pokemon but the male character snags it. Also, the starter pokemon change between the two. Male: Pikachu, Electabuzz, Jolteon. Female: Magmar, Flareon, Vulpix. Not that this would effect the pokedex as if the male character has Pikachu, the female would have Vulpix. If someone could hack this for me, I could provide sprites and maps and the storyline. I just ask to be given credit. As for Xer0's question, no, you may not use THAT particular sprite. I could certainly edit and make some new characters for you. if you notice, the Surfing sprite and the bicycle and fishing sprites do not exist for these trainers so letting you use them would be pretty incomplete. Let me know what kind of character you would like to have sprited and I'll get working on it (try to make the request this week Xer0 since it's spring break for me).
